The host was very warm and responsive. The location was great with direct view of the ocean. The facility is basic but clean. There is a fan, but no AC, so during the hot afternoon could be a little uncomfortable. Then we realized this is “normal “ on the island, since most businesses, including the airport, have no AC either. All in all, we had a great time, it’s hard to be unhappy in such a unique environment!

If you are a light sleeper as I, you may have some issues with a noise from cars and motorbikes from the road nearby. However, the road is not very busy, so generally it's not that bad. For my boyfriend it was not a problem at all. So, it's personal thing. One thing I'd recommend to the host - place anti-mosquito nets to the windows. It's hot to sleep with closed windows in summer season, but with the open ones you can be bitten with mosquitoes. It didn't ruin our trip though. Just some discomfort. Again, overall, that was great experience.

Overall, that was a great experience! Violeta (host) met us at the airport, on the way to cabana showed us all key places on the main street, provided clear instructions, and btw on our departure day she also gave us a ride to the airport. The best thing about our cabana is view! It's fantastic, you can enjoy the ocean view, rocks and waves as long as you want. The cabana style is tropical countryside which is very nice. It's filled with light but you can use roll blinds if you want. It has beautiful terrace, great for chilling time. There is all necessary inside cabana, even in case you want to cook for yourself. We had just a few days and preferred restaurants, but there was still great to have fridge, coffee machine and microwave (to warm up empanadas:) Bed was comfortable. And there was hot water in the shower, no problem. Only good memories!

Bathroom needs updates and a more thorough cleaning. I can understand that it is difficult to do in humid climate and that too so close to the ocean. The property can do with modernization.

Location, Location, Location. Outstanding view of the ocean from the house. We would get together every evening on the balcony and were happy to spend hours talking with the ocean in the foreground. It is 5 -10 mins walk from downtown, restaurants, and stores. Ocean sounds and cool breeze lulled us to sleep every night. Large enough for 2 adults (& a child), good beds, adequately provisioned kitchen. Violeta (the landlady) is communicative, responsive and very helpful.

Quite cramped and old with creaking doors and minimum kitchen space. The door to the outside must be watched like a hawk. If you close the door behind you without the key, you'll lock yourself out, and if you didn't take your phone out or your wallet, you'd be in a bit of a mess.

Excellent location overlooking the ocean. It is wonderful to wake up to blue skies and the sound of waves breaking. The host make a great effort to keep the place clean. It is small but cozy. There are outside seating areas with flowers around, and at least when we were there, the weather was very benign and great for sitting outdoors. The centre of Hanga Roa is just a short 5 minute walk with plenty of restaurants and other facilities.

It can be a little warm in the room during the day, but cools down at night and is quite comfortable.

You're across the street from the ocean, and can hear the waves hitting the shore at night. Convenient location a five minute walk from the center of town. One of the best restaurants we tried is next door, Taha Tai.

Violeta was an amazing host. She informed us about the Island, things to do around and lend us a book to read about Rapa Nui She also organised to be collected from airport for free The Cabaña was very clean and served the purpose. From the balcony we could see the sea and enjoy the sunset and sound of the waves

Everything was great - there was nothing about this stay we didn't like.

This place is amazing - the location, the view, the beds. Violeta is a wonderful and kind hostess who will go the extra mile. We even got a free Gato friend thrown in (our children love cats) - though as he was a neighbor's cat, I can't guarantee he will stop by when you are there.

A simple rustic cabin that is yet comfortable and has everything you need for a couple of days exploring the island. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean is hard to beat. Cozy balcony, very friendly and responsive host, wonderful meet and greet and the airport. The location is excellent for those who want to be close to the city and explore Hanga Roa, walking distance to everywhere.

This is the sweetest accommandation ever. Pickup included, and welcoming with flowers was absolutely amazing. The apartment is suuuper clean and has everything you need and more. Even soap and mosquito repellent. Kitchen is wellequipped and beds are so comfy. View is breathtaking, lovely porch and it’s only a short walk to the center. The host is the sweetest and most helpful woman. Thank you so much for making our stay on the Island so memorable. Highly recommended. 10/10, and would have given it 12/10 if possible.

Incredible location and a very charming cabin. Comfortable, quaint, affordable, and an excellent view. One of the best stays in recent memory. Listen to the waves crash as you fall asleep!
