Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaI might suggest a few more hooks in the bathroom, or in the room, to hang up towels for drying.
This hosteria is within 20 minutes of the entry to Torres del Paine National Park entrance. Excellent location. I loved the 'old-world charm' of this hosteria! There was plenty of parking - close to the entry. Upon arrival we were greeted with a friendly smile, and anticipation of our booking, and a quick registration. We were led to our queen size room (that had an extra bed) that looked over the majestic Torres del Paine landscapes! The bed was comfortable with fresh, clean, and crisp linens. The bathroom, although small was perfectly serviceable with an opening window to allow shower mist to escape. Generous breakfasts and delicious, beautifully presented dinners were served in the main dining room that overviewed the spectacular scenery. Servers were friendly, attentive, and hospitable and showed a genuine interest in making guests feel welcome. Special kudos to them for their heartfelt welcome! There were plenty of areas to walk nearby to enjoy the surrounding scenery. Farm animals in neighbouring farms were a treat to watch!

United States of AmericaThe place is overpriced for what you get. We stayed next door at the Rio Serrano which is extremely nice but expensive, as well as Cabanas Lago Tyndall which was cheaper but felt much nicer. Our room was old and we could hear every single movement of the people upstairs. The shower leaked water and our doorhandle was loose and we had to fidget it to get it to lock. Overall, it wasn't the worst experience, but we would not stay here again compared to the other options.
We liked the breakfast in the morning and the location.

United States of AmericaRooms were somewhat small.
It was a nice well kept property, rooms were on the small side but clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and water was hot. Breakfast was basic. Dinner is available but did not opt for it, so cannot say anything about it. The hostess recommended a couple of alternative places to eat, one of which was walking distance. We tried it and it was excellent. The hostess and staff were very helpful.

United States of AmericaThe road to the property
This hotel is located at the middle of Rio Serrano, a beautiful place surrounded by rivers, lake, and mountains. You can see the Toros Del Paine park from the hotel. The hotel is an eco friendly facilities. The village was a horse ranch(?) with still some lovely horses. The hotel itself is pretty too. The WiFi is good in the lobby but none in the room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only challenge is to get there. There are only two ways to get to the village from El Calafate or Puerto Natalis: through north entrance and pass through the park or toward South Park entrance, which is a 60 km rough gravel road from Cerro Castillo. Once you passed that test you will see the one of the most beautiful places in the world.

HungaryThe neighbour was a bit noisy closing the door like 10 times, so I suggest earplugs. The prices are similar in Torres del Paine, but be prepared to pay a Caribbean luxury hotel for a campsite inn-experience.
Super nice staff, good dinners inside the national park, amazing view, not too central

United KingdomThe WiFi was quite weak, maybe a slightly longer dinner slot. It would have also been nice to have some options for dinner rather than one set menu.
The room was clean and the location was very good. The view from our room was lovely and the place felt warm and cosy.

United States of AmericaAs with other places in Patagonia, a fridge for guests would be a great thing to have. Most people have snacks and water for the hikes and food goes bad if you don’t have a fridge. Breakfast was under par.
Great view of the mountains and easy to find. The staff was helpful and friendly and the room was comfortable even when basic. Clean linens and good dinner. Pre-stay communication was effective. Dinner was excellent although a bit pricey, but we learned that everything is pricey in the Torres park. It is a great place for the price.

United KingdomAs many others have pointed out, the price is very high. But then everything else in and around the park is equally expensive so I guess it's one of the better value places of the bunch. The dinner menu is also quite expensive. I think if redoing the trip I'd be tempted to drive from Puerto Natales each day where the food and accommodation is much better value.
Spotless accommodation, rooms and bathrooms very big. Staff were very friendly. Good location at the entrance to the national park.

United States of AmericaOn the afternoon we arrived both the main hall / dining room and our room were a bit cold as the heat does not turn on until 7:30pm (although there were a couple wood burning stoves in the main hall that helped a little).
Spectacular views of the Cordillera del Paine! All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. Spotless clean.
