Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Traffic noise, that's the price of being close to the bus terminal.
The main draw is the location close to Bus Temrinal Sur (10 minutes). Friendly, attentive host! As described.

Very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Very clean bathroom, kitchen and bedding. The walls and skirting are a bit grubby looking but all the important stuff was very clean. The location is excellent for central station and the bus terminals. It doesn’t feel very safe outside after dark and local people did tell us to be careful even during the day. But it felt ok for us in the daytime. The host was super communicative and helpful. The lady who works at the front desk (you have to register your stay there) was also lovely.

A bit noisy but we slept well. VAT exemption for foreigners only with cash payment.
Communication is smooth and the price was good.

It was an apartment in a tall block of flats but it works.
Once we found it - very helpful owner helped greatly. A bustling location - a 10 minute drive to Plaza de Armas but only 2 minutes from bus station.

The area is a little rough, just don’t go out late at night. During the day it’s fine
The host German is fantastic, made the stay so easy. The location is a stones throw away from the bus stop and train station, perfect for saving money on transport

The blinds in the room were not great for keeping out lights/privacy. The area of this hotel is a bit rough.
The property was very good. Comfy bed, tv worked and was close to the bus terminal which was our main reason for staying there.

Place was a little cold, we couldn't figure out the heater.
Super close to the south bus terminal, extremely easy check in with clear instructions.

There was no air conditioning. The fridge contained too much frost to function well. The room is small.
The apartment is located in a tower next to the bus station.

Effecting payment. I have much better things to do than esperience missed appts to pay condo owner. Actually, ridiculous for me having to interfere with my vacation over owner not being around to accept payment. I had to schedule my day around this! Ridiculous. TV required much frustration to figure out. It took troubleshooting with two others to resolve. I noticed previous visitor also had TV probls Bedroom window covering were broken so privacy was poor at night with interior lights on.Door lock/handle loose on entry door didn't build confidence in security, especially seeing evidence of break-in on balcony sliding glass door, which was not able to lock.
Early check-in was good, BUT, subsequent trouble to effect payment was infuriating.

very loud traffic noise and the balcony door didn’t close properly, the apartment needs a deep clean (walls have stains, cabinets have stains, trash can dirty) but the bed was fine
good proximity to subway station and the bus station, staff was very nice

It is just run down and dirty. This fails to surprise me given that it is a hotel near a bus station in a large city. Both my friend and I are very suspicious of how a place this run down and dirty in a bad neighborhood could possibly have such a high average rating on booking. We suspect some fake reviews. The apartments show obvious signs of neglect and are obviously not thoroughly cleaned between tenants.
We booked this due to being right by the bus station, and it was. The host was friendly and helpful. The employees were friendly.
