There wasn't a large breakfast selection but it was enough for me. To note, you do need to inform them when you are outside on arrival as there is no reception or bell at the door. This may be challenging for international travellers who do not have mobile network access but they do provide you with the WiFi details ahead of time so keep this handy.

Great staff, the metro is close by making everything easily acceptable. Snacks available 24/7.

I really loved my stay at Tinka! The place was spotlessly clean and felt cozy from the moment I arrived. The location couldn’t be better—everything I wanted to see was just a short walk away. I would absolutely stay here again and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

The hotel is really nice. Good security. There is always a staff there and very nice common area with great inner courtyard. The downside is our room is next to the road and the traffic noise can be very loud.

Amazing stay! The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I was even upgraded to a queen-size room. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, and I loved that water, coffee, and snacks were available 24/7. Highly recommend!

Stayed for 3 days, great location, comfy and spacious room and bathroom. Common spaces were comfy and friendly. Internet and air conditioning worked well. Would 100% come back.

The owner couldn't have been any nicer, always liked to have a chat with you and nothing was too much trouble, the hotel was in a nice area with plenty of restaurants and cafes close by and there was plenty of food for breakfast which was included in the price, i would definitely stay there again if I ever go to Santiago in the future

Awesome location in a fun neighborhood. Close to many great food options, public transit, and hiking. Felt very safe, and the host was incredibly helpful in showing us around the property. We had an interior facing room, which was very quiet and peaceful, even along a somewhat busy neighborhood street. To access the property, you'll need a remote to unlock the gate, which you'll receive in person. I appreciate the security, but a code access would be nice for late night arrivals.

Nice place. Nothing interesting room decor as well as being quiet, clean and comfortable. Rodrigo is a great guy and very helpful. Knowing a little Spanish will help. Continental breakfast with eggs included. Location is great especially for restaurants.

Only downside, the breakfast room (good breakfast by the way) had no door so when I was trying to get some sleep, I was kept awake by the laughter from downstairs. Not a big issue. Pretty much everywhere a tourist would want to go was closed on Monday (especially the first Monday of the month). If you can plan your trip around that, it would be a good idea. Otehrwise, a wasted day.,

One issue I encountered during my stay was the language barrier. Unfortunately, there was no one who could speak English, which made communication quite difficult. While I’m not a native English speaker, I believe English is an international language in tourism, and having staff who can communicate in English would significantly enhance the guest experience. This small improvement would make the stay much more enjoyable for international visitors.

The property has been beautifully renovated, offering a clean, comfortable and cozy environment. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, always ready to assist with any request. The location is also a big plus - there is a subway station just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the city. Breakfast was decent, though a bit more variety would have made it even better. Overall, a great choice for a comfortable and convenient stay!

I loved it. Big room, good breakfast, coffee and water available during the day. We were allowed to borrow subway cards. Ignacio and the crew were very nice, everything was clean. He was very interested in us and we had a nice conversation about Chile. On the day we could not have breakfast due to an early tour, one of the ladies made us a care package. The house is very secure and the neighbourhood is nice and safe, a bit further away from city centre but still easily reached by foot, metro, taxi.

There is some coordination required to get in to the property which could be hard for a traveler without service. However they provided that information in advance and even give the wifi password to use outside of the hotel to contact them.

I loved the neighborhood which had a metro stop, lots of great coffee shops and restaurants. However it was much more calm than Bellavista, which is just a short 15 minute walk. They held our bags after check-out while we could explore the city before an evening flight. The breakfast was also great!
