The furniture and bathroom fittings are a bit dated in design but those are still in reasonable service conditions

The property located within central Tianhe Guangzhou, right next to shopping center TaiKoo Hui. It is very convenient to explore Tianhe from here. It is also very close to amenities like banks and other public transport mode like mass rapid transit and buses. The facilities is well equipped including gym and wifi is smooth. We like the idea that we could wash our laundry within the unit

Wifi could have been better . Wifi doesnt work inside washroom . the rug under the table could have been more cleaner . and the rooms should be ready before arrival .

breakfast doesnt contain any food for the Muslims, moreover not a variety of options as a whole . didnt like the breakfast and wont recommend it to any Asians or Muslims.

The self-catering room we stayed in had had visible modernisations. A little oil on the rolling partition door would be the only suggestion.

Great location in an interesting and modern sector of Guangzhou. 5 minutes from the metro (Hotel to platform). Helpful staff. Good sized, well-equipped room. Adequate breakfast with vegetarian options.

The entrance hall and the reception area has a very strong artificial scent, which according to doctors, is really not good for you. The staff at the reception are inhaling all the time and it is harmful to them. I stayed in 303 which is very good and comfortable, but one can hear the sound of the lift next to the flat.

Very good breakfast except that you did not provide soya milk for my coffee, I am lactose intolerant, i.e. can't digest milk. Also the dim sum station do not provide proper Cantonese dim sum. Otherwise it is good. The flat 303 I stayed is newly decorated to a very high standard. It is also extremely comfortable. Thank you for the upgrade.

I never complain but this time is I have to. I had two big issues: 1) When I arrived, I paid the rent of 1250 and the deposit of 1800. However, inatead of returning me the deposit and keeping the rent, they did the opposite. In other words I paid 1800RMB for the stay. All my requests were met with words that everything is clean on their side. Basically Ascott employees carelessness or incompetence make me lose about 550 RMB. One could consider this thievery, but I hope to believe this is just incompetence... 2) I asked the reception to give an estimate of the price of standard taxi from Ascott Guangzhou to Ascott Shenzhen, they told me it would cost 300RMB. For my group travel needs, I had to choose between taking two standard taxis or one minivan. They told the minivan would cost 900RMB (which is probably correct, I checked later). So I decided to go with two taxis. But it didn't cost me 300RMB, it cost me 600RMB per taxi or in total 1200RMB. Another loss due to the incompetence of the employees of Ascott

It’s not a 5 star property, nothing aligns with 5 star so value for money is highly debatable. Only two members of the staff were nice helpful and welcoming. Coral really did make my stay safe and pleasurable he was so helpful and kind. And the man on the door as well. But the Night Shift staff were extremely not helpful and honestly not welcoming. I used to get a no or I don’t know for each question I ask. Adding to that 95% of hotel staff can’t speak English.

The location was perfect , right next to taiko hui which has a metro station. Rooms are big and clean.
