We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The staff, and especially Tony and Hans are real hosts. They will do what it takes to make the visit great. Food is good and my room was great. During my visit some rebuilding was done but in no way it was a disturbance.

New ZealandPoor service at check in. She didn’t even say hello to us. Then it appeared she spoke not one word of English. It was all pretty painful as it turned out, no one did. At this five star hotel. There was also a wedding on so we could use the restaurant. Only we couldn’t go anywhere as in China no one will take our visa or MasterCard around the hotel only wee chat which we don’t have. So we had no means to eat anything the entire 18 Hours we were there. We then had to exchange euros to a taxi driver as it’s all we had as the hotel won’t arrange a transfer that we can charge to the room. For a five star hotel - it was just strange we couldn’t get food or drink when we wanted, we couldn’t speak in English to anyone at all, and they couldn’t arrange a taxi that gets charged to our room accounts. We eventually spoke to a manager who had a little English a was apologetic about the lack of services.
The size of the suites are great. Huge! Amazing big bathrooms
