To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Excellent location, everything is within walking distance. A wonderful street with a lot of seafood restaurants for all tastes. The hotel itself is quiet and cozy, I was able to relax and sleep comfortably.

ChinaStayed there for only one night (thanks God). I chose a dormitory with bathroom, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom and it didn't have water, so you still had to go somewhere else to get a shower. The bed sheets look dirty. The bedroom smelled bad. There was no regulation at what time to turn off the lights. So you are at the mercy of the last person to go to bed. It was 12am and the lights where still on. I had to leave early the next day and couldn't figure out how to open the door, had to sneak out through another door. Very bad experience. I have stayed at hostels in China cheaper and 1000 better than this one. Don't book this hotel.
