excellent location to explore YangShuo. What really made our trip special was how helpful the staff was to help us plan our holiday in Yangshuo. Nothing was too much to ask. The staff helped us to organise taxis, lessons in Tea Tasting/chinese painting with minimum notice. They also helped us with payment to other providers when the payment method did not work. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay again

The bathroom was fine and functional, but a little small. The hotel is right by the river, and you would see the river from the bedroom... but there are trees obscuring the view, so unless you're on the top floors, you can't see much of the river. While the vast majority of the staff has been extremely nice and helpful, one of them, in one instance, was rude to us. That's unfortunate, because it left a small stain an otherwise great experience.

The hotel is really well located. It's within walking distance of the pier if you are coming by boat, which you probably are if you're going to Yangshuo. Right by the pier, right by the river, and also fairly close to the centre, where all the shop and activities are. The hotel room was nice and comfy (the bed, in particular, was perfect for me), and the toilet super modern. One big plus is that the staff has been extremely helpful, helping us book activities in the area or a taxi to the train station at the end of our stay. They have been extremely polite and helpful.

No proper seating in the room. Can only sit at the balcony, but sometimes can be too cold to sit outside.

Well located. Near to West Street. Easy to get DiDi (local taxi). My room is at the top/4th floor and has got nice river view. Bed is big and comfortable. Although there's no lift, the staff would help to carry the luggage up to the room. They can also arrange local tours/sightseeing. The hotel downstair is a restaurant. The food is delicious. We had three meals at the restaurant 😋. Must try!

The hotel is a great mix of traditional style and modern comfort. It's right next to the river promenade and only a few minutes walking away from the bustling center with countless shops, restaurants and bars. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. All rooms are reached by stairs, no elevator available. The staff around Kevin, Yawen and Xiao Yang are super friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond expectation to make our stay pleasant and easy. We lost one of our mobile phones during traveling with the bullet train and Kevin and co tracked it down and brought it back to the hotel. The hotel has a restaurant that serves local traditional food. It's always busy so reserve with Yawen and Xiao Yang in advance.

No elevator so you'll need to walk up. I knew this so I was prepared.

The room, as advertised, had a view. I happen to have stayed during New Years so any fireworks set off by the riverbank was visible from my room. The room also had a great air conditioner so the temperature was nice and cozy.

The location was great, the style and cleanliness of the room was fantastic, we had a superior room and you can spot the attention to details from the toilet to the bed. The staff speak English and is very helpful for every your need. If you stay at the hotel is a must to try the restaurant, it is delicious and very fast service.

This is such a great little hotel. The location is perfect, just 10 minutes walk from the pier where the boat cruises from Guilin dock, just 1 block from West Street. Our double room (305) had great views of karsts and the Li River. (See photo) The staff were friendly and helpful, with good English. To top it all, it has a bar and an excellent and very popular restaurant serving top notch but inexpensive Chinese food. So glad we stayed here!

Like all hotels in older buildings there were no elevators so it was a bit of an effort going up to our room on the 4 th floor.

The location is excellent. Right by the river and very short walk to West street. We also had a good breakfast there.

Smell of the hotel's restaurant is in the rooms too. Offered activities/booking fees are a bit pricy. Not all of the reception staff speak english.

The hotel is close to the city and offers nice views of the river and sourrounding mountains. Our room at the top floor had beautiful furniture and even a private balcony. Really nice cafe close by. The hotel's restaurant offers a lot of meal choices and quick room service which is great. Friendly and helpful staff. Also really close to the boat terminal!

It was a localized hotel. You would see kids sitting behind the front desk doing their homework. I also noticed that my prior room cancelation due to switching room type was not being refunded. Have gone out to clarify. Hopefully, things will be ironed out quickly but I am not worried. However, will prefer if I don't need to do this bookkeeping.

The property was clean. The location is excellent. It was just 5 mins away from the pedestrian path for food and souvenirs. The roomy was a bit tight but it was ok since we spent a good amount of time outside. The dinner in the hotel was super good in quality and value. I will recommend anyone to try.

The hotel is in a really central and convenient location with great views from the top floors. The lady at the front desk was extremely responsive and helpful for everything we needed like booking trips and taxis. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the restaurant downstairs was very good as well.

This is very much a traditional Chinese hotel. It is very well located being close to West street and the river. We were initially concerned prior to our arrival as what to expect due to the low cost but our worries proved totally unnecessary as the hotel proved to be lovely. The rooms are clean and well appointed and comfortable - we had one of the larger river facing rooms. As a bonus the Chinese restaurant down stairs is great and obviously approved by locals as full in the evenings. The menu is in Chinese but us a translation app and this makes it easy to avoid any unexpected surprises The staff are very friendly and helpful and speak some English. Trips can be easily organised.
