AustraliaThis property was managed by a lovely couple who were extremely friendly, helpful with directions and wanted us to enjoy our stay in Pingyao as much as possible. The property is conveniently located quite close to one of the city gates, so it’s only a very short walk to and from where taxis can drop you off and pick you up if coming from the high speed railway station. I would highly recommend this property to those who want to visit Pingyao.

RussiaThat was a fantastic stay in one of the best areas of Medieval city. The hosts gave a very warm welcome meeting us at the train station and helping with delivering the baggage which was very handy because one cannot take a car into the ancient city and otherwise has carry your bags from the gates. The location is an ideal balance of central position just several hundred meters away from the one of the main streets with the Administrator’s house and a quite alley away from noise. The room was a separate house with 1,5 floors. The interior is made with love and with much attention to details which make you feel that you are indeed in an ancient city but with all the benefits of modernity. The courtyard where you can sit and have a breakfast or just enjoy tea or simply relax is really impressive. This is family run business and the guys are always ready to help and very responsive.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay in this unique and charming apartment in the heart of Pingyao. The place is full of character and history, yet equipped with all modern comforts. What truly made the experience exceptional was our host, who was incredibly kind and helpful. He arranged transportation for us from and to the train station, as well as a private trip to visit the Shuanglin and Zhenguo temples outside the city—making everything smooth and stress-free. A truly authentic and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

The accommodation was very high standard and even though temperatures outside was -16 the room was really warm and cozy.
