    “It was a real pleasure staying here for two nights. The room was big and had everything I needed: a comfortable bed, storage, a little fridge, a powerful and quiet A/C and a fan. The bathroom was modern. As in most places you only have a cool shower, so no hot water, but the water wasn’t cold but refreshing. The posada is in the heart of San Andrés Town, about a 5-minute walk to the main beach. It‘s easy to walk past the entrance to the posada. Stop when you see a white iron gate. The posada has a beautiful garden with birds and trees. And you feel more than just a few steps away from the hustle and bustle of the town. You completely forget it’s there. Ilse and her husband Willy are wonderful hosts and have scores of information on the island. They also helped me rent a scooter which was delivered directly to the posada. Marta, who helps around the house, is also such a nice person. I felt at home right away”
