Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A little noise from outside at night but this is the case anywhere in old town I think, earplugs helped to get a good nights sleep!
Great location in the old town, pretty interior, room was spacious, breakfast of eggs and toast with fruit, coffee & juice.

Rooms are small and windowless.

Maybe could provide free filtered water to help the environment. That was the only thing we found missing.
Lovely hotel in the historic centre, very helpful staff, good breakfast, nice rooms. We really enjoyed our stay.

The room is very tiny, I couldn't open 2 suitcases. So need to close otherwise cannot walk. The mattress is not that comfy. There's window but I can't open cause it's face the corridor, no privacy and I don't want the mosquito in the room.
Location is very good inside the wall city. The night reception is very helpful and friendly. It's a beautiful old house. No restaurant but few tables set in the corridor to serve very simple breakfast. A small pool which I didn't use in my stay.

We liked the hotel, the quiet area, the old world charm. We appreciated air conditioning in the room. Breakfast was good. Hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful

Our room was right next to the stairs and breakfast area, so it was pretty loud. It was also very bright all night and the bed was tiny for a couple. I’d ask for a different room next time.

Pool is a bit small but not the reason we stayed there.
Amazing location to explore old town next to nice restaurants and beautiful hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Quiet atmosphere. AC in room is great.

Our ground-floor room had windows but they all faced the main corridor of the common area where breakfast is held and the pool is located, which meant limited privacy.
Beautiful historic location (200 years old, if I remember correctly), with a tastefully decorated reception area. Staff nice and helpful; good breakfast; fantastic position in the old walled city centre.

Great location near to lots of restaurants and cafes, lovely and very helpful staff, great breakfast, we had the room with the balcony at the front and it was great to use with comfy chairs. Very useful to have aircon in Cartagena. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall a great experience. Nothing to complain about!
Located centrally but still in a quiet area. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed for one night. Staff is nice and helpful! The door is always looked and will be opened by the staff upon arrival, which makes one feel really safe.

Walls were VERY thin, specifically towards the hallway. There are no "outdoor" windows, only a window into the doorway which could potentially be considered "outdoor" since the main ceiling is open, but that probably contributed to the noise. No elevator and very small dining area for breakfast.
This is one of the only hotels I could find with hot water and there was indeed hot water in the shower!! Great location and very safe hotel with 24hr security and locked front gate. Breakfast was included. Room was simple and clean. Strong AC.

The bed in our room was hard. It is a historic building so don t put your hopes to high although it is well maintained and clean.
Located in a perfect spot in the Historic Centro. This wonderful historically kept hotel for achecture fans is nice place to stay and visit the city center. Close to everything needed.

The pillows were huge and stiff and unusable. We ended up using our down coats (we arrived from the US) as pillows.
We stayed in the deluxe room and it was spacious and very nice, with an extra big balcony. The location near some great restaurants couldn’t be better. Quiet. The staff helped us figure out the best way to get to Santa Marta and booked it for us. The ambiance was charming.
