The breakfast is served, what is lovely. But sooo dificult to choose if you do not speak spanish. The water tap in jaccussi needs repair.

The views are spectaculous. The location is gorgeous, just need to be aware it is up the steep hill. The reception guy was very kind and professional. And to have jaccussi outside, with a glass of wine....

The only point for us was breakfast. It was tasty, but is not buffet. You need to choose of some options. Once they did not have the option i wanted. It took time to prepare.

Room was clean and beautiful. We had the view of valley and highly recommend. Staff very nice. I would book again in case i return to this place. It is really beautiful.

The hotel is located at the top of Salento village, so you have stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there are plenty of restaurants at 5-8 min walk away. The location is great, 5 min walk from the center. We had a standard double room with an inner courtyard view, located on the ground floor, so we had the blinds drawn all the time so that people outside couldn't see our room, but the hotel's back terrace with the mountain view is a big highlight for this hotel and we enjoyed relaxing there whenever possible. Staff were very nice, they helped us with the transfer to/from Pereira airport.

The staff are very noisy. They cleaned the rooms between 3 and 4 pm and were talking very loudly to each other while doing so. The rooms are close together and because the sliding doors open all the way above the patio, the noise and loud talking of the staff were unpleasant, especially as we wanted to take a nap after our hike to the wax palm forest.

This is a really beautiful hotel. Our room had big glass sliding doors on the first floor which opened up the whole front of the room. This helped to cool down the room as there is no aircon or fan. The view from our room over the Cocora Valley was absolutely priceless. The bed was very comfortable and there was also a hammock in the room. The breakfast consisted of fruit juice, toast and eggs made to order, and coffee. Although there was no variety, it was very tasty. There is no lift, but the staff helped to take our luggage up and down the stairs. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there are 3 or 4 restaurants a short walk away, on the way to the Mirador de Cocora Valley. About a 1 - 2 minute walk away.

Fabulous location on the edge of town but quiet with the most wonderful views from the terrace. Delicious breakfasts and very helpful and friendly staff. Salento is a lovely little town with plenty of cafes and restaurants. we did a two hour horse ride in the Cocora valley and it was amazing.

The humidity in Salento is high, and there is no additional ventilation in the bathroom, so everything is constantly wet. The breakfast is served (starts at 7:30 am), so you have to wait for the waiters to take your order (not all the options are announced). If you are in a hurry it is difficult, we were waiting for 30min to be served with 2 eggs and a piece of bread. It depended on the day and the person who was working. But the staff itself was nice.

The view is insane ! The staff is friendy and nice. We had an economy room, so it is small, and is loud, as the window goes into the reception. But it was ok.

It would be nice if the property had a set of binoculars available for people to use on the back patio. The room that I stayed in was a bit small and the tiny wooden chairs in the room didn’t really make sense as furniture anyone would want to use. Also be aware the hotel is nestled atop a large hill on the edge of town that requires a semi-difficult walk uphill but it makes sense to get the gorgeous view of the mountains.

The back patio overlooking the mountain is a huge highlight of the hotel and I enjoyed lounging out there whenever possible. I also appreciated the tasty breakfast and friendly staff.

Nothing, we loved our 2 night stay.

Amazing views from our junior suite and the hotel terrace. Our room was comfortable with a nice bed, AC, balcony, and tv. The room and bathroom were clean and looked like it had been recently renovated so felt new. We loved the whirlpool after a day of hiking and the ability to enjoy the views while having a soak. The location is nice and easily walkable to anywhere in the salento town. Breakfast was tasty and nice range of food offered.

Small thing - I love coffee and sunrises. It would be great if coffee was available between 6:00am and 7:30am.

Our room was clean, spacious, with a huge bed, generous shower, and of course a spectacular view! The staff were all very nice and professional. Breakfast was delicious.

This is not a critique on the hotel as we loved it but suggestions for smaill improvements: 1) there was an issue with the hot water. It took forever to warm up and when it did it would only last 30 seconds, then it would be cold, then it would be hot. It was very intermittent. This affected the jacuzzi tub which took forever to heat, the water wasn't warm (the hot water went from cool to hot to cold) and the jets blew cold air into water that was already cool. We did notify the hotel about this issue upon our departure and they said they would address it immediately. 2) there was no choice of fruit juice and it was always orange juice. As this was our last stop on a three week trip throughout Colombia, it would have been nice to have a selection of juices. The choice of juice/fruits in Colombia was one of the most enjoyable things annd trying the juice of an exotic fruit unavailable in our country adds to the experience. The hotel could offer orange juice every day PLUS one other exotic juice that could change each day of the week. 3) the bathroom needs one hook on the wall to hang a toiletry bag

The room was large, very sleek and modern and beautiful. The floor to ceiling windows that opened were an amazing surprise. The view was exceptional, the birdsong in the morning and evening was exhilerating. The staff at the Front Desk and working in the breakfast room/kitchen were so friendly and so helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and the coffee, of course, was fantastic. The area of the hotel was special: it was in a quiet part of town but only a 5 minute walk to the action of the Street of Artisans and the Central Square from where all the Willy Jeeps (transport) were stationed. I couldn't have picked better accommodation. It was always a tug-of-war to stay in the room and enjoy the view/vibe or head out to enjoy the colourful, vibrant town of Solenta.

This is by far one of the best properties that we’ve ever stayed in! The views (mountain view room is 100% worth it), the staff, the location, everything was perfect. I would come back to Salento for many reasons, but the key one would be to stay here once again.

Process at breakfast takes some time and could definitely be better organized. Staff at reception generally helpful but we had some issues in terms of organization. No free water (only time in our home Colombia trip, very unexpected for such kind of hotel)
