The shower is cold if you have it at a medium-high pressure and only hot when on a very low pressure. The hostel is situated a bit out of the centre, a 15 minute walk uphill which is fine and peaceful in the day but not ideal at nighttime as not very well lit, but you can get a taxi for 15COP. Also we turned up at 10 for breakfast (on booking it says it’s available until 11), and we were served but were also told we needed to come at 9/9:30 in future for it.

Nice, clean hostel, with lovely big beds. Breakfast was good and the owner was helpful, responding to any queries we had about activities in the area.

Great spot about 20 mins walk from town center. You can watch birds in the morning. The staff are really friendly and made a great breakfast of tortillas, beans and eggs. Room was comfortable and nice and warm in the evenings. Fantastic value for the price

this is not the owner’s fault, but the power went out and left us in the dark and without hot water. some guests were loud late at night. the walk into town was unpaved and due to the rain, was very muddy.

the breakfast provided was great, especially the coffee and chocolate. we liked that there was a balcony as well, the view was beautiful.

Amazing views from the property. The owner was incredibly nice and accommodating, he even gave us a free upgrade to a top floor room with a gorgeous balcony view. Along with freshly cooked breakfast

It's a little outside town.....only about 20 minutes but it's all uphill. There isn't a restaurant/cafe close by..

The views were incredible from our balcony. Don Hugo was very friendly and welcoming. He gave us an early breakfast before we went trekking. Very comfortable stay.

Bugs can very easily get in the room and the bathrooms were not great.

Walk from town is great, except if it's been raining the last part is very muddy. If it's just rained or rainy season you'd probably need to drive/get a ride.

Nice spot out amidst nature. Quiet, about a 15 minute walk from town. Host was friendly. Nice breakfast and a beautiful setting/outlook for the breakfast. Rooms were basic but clean. Great value for money.

A very noisy and big family was there at the same time as us. I think the employees should be a little bit stricter with the guests in order to keep it silent between 23-07. We woke up around 6.15am to what sounded like a huge party…

We are very quiet people, however the staff was very respectful and helped us every time we had any question o asked for something. Don Hugo is a gentleman and a very nice person. The view from our room was awesome and we could enjoy several so beutiful sunsets from there. Since this place is located 800 m from Salento urban border, it was the best because of the noisy parties and concerts that were taken place in the town during our trip. By the way, it was on New Year holidays.

There seems to be poor communication with whoever manages the bookings and those checking people in. It seemed that phone calls needed to be made to check us in and also to see if we could extend.

Good location not to far from town. The old man managing check ins is very nice and friendly.

Because the room.was in the front it was a bit noisy, especially in the afternoon/mornings when other guests would gather to chat. Hotel was a 15 to 20 minute walk from the center. This was both good and bad. Breakfast was terrible for the price we paid. Hands down the worst breakfast we had in Colombia. Could pay 5,000 cop in town and get something far superior.

The front balcony room was nice and it had good views of the hillside. The staff was generally nice and helpful. They were kind enough to hold our luggage while we went trekking for a few days.

Breakfast was included, but the staff didn't seem to understand that people that enter the breakfast room in the morning come there to eat breakfast. We had to ask several times for our breakfast, and one morning we ended up waiting over an hour before it was served.

The location was beautiful. Just a 10 minute walk from the town of Salento and in the middle of the nature. The view from the terrace was amazing.

I stayed on a very small room just could open completely the window, it was cold and rain so i had to be with it all closed. The showers mix cold and hot are not so easy to manage. Was also a bit cold as we had just some light covered or duvet.

The staff was very friendly. They helped with my daughter and our Uber that got stuck on the way up. The feeling is from a family house.
