Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe soundproof windows were not adequate for the location of the hotel. The noise of the cars, motorbikes and trucks on nearby avenues was unbearable. The room was in need of some renovation, in particular the bathroom. Bed sheets, blankets and towels are in need of replacement.
The hotel is close to the Embassies and a large shopping mall. The room was big, the breakfast was good, and the complimentary airport shuttle was great. This is a good option for those who have to spend the night to go to any of the Embassies nearby.

Location was excellent since i travelled to attend the American Consulate interview which was right across the hotel - you need to cross the small bridge over the canal. Multiple restaurants in the Hotel building - Hooters/Buffalo Wings/Subway/Teriyaki/ElCorral/JuanValdez Cafe and also close by Crepes and Waffles Felt safe , Breakfast was standard, Room was OK - felt a bit coldness in the room, king beds made that typical sound while you moved over the middle of the bed - the fridge made sound all the night - whats the point in having a fridge if you don't have mini-bar Staff was OK - nothing special you can expect from people of Bogota - additional plus was the pickup/dropoff shuttle van to the Airport Overall i would say a nice place based on location. I would come back.

United StatesWas no water after 10pm and hotel staff said water will be back around 4:00am the following day but that was not the case. Have to take a flight at 10:00am with no shower. Also toilet did not work due to no water. That for sure was not acceptable. The glass door on the shower area did not close all the way so water was coming out and have to used the towel to dry the floor.

United StatesThe taxis overcharged I would say in my Profesional opinion as a Former Taxi Driver in the USA. I had a property Taxi Driver charge me $120,000.00 Colombian Pesos for a round-trip Airport run due to the fact that American Airlines kept my luggage in Miami upon arrival early Mourning on a Saturday and not due to arrive at the Bogota El Derado Airport until 11:30 P.M. That same evening. As a Former Taxi Driver myself many years ago when I was going to school, I felt I had blessed this Property Taxi Driver with a round-trip Airport run, but after about a 20 minute wait, he informed me that he was going to charge me additional wait time, which is legal by all means, but highly not recommended in the Taxi Industry for a good impression or repeat business if it's a short wait time of an hour or less and especially if it's a good round-trip Taxi Service. I took about 30 minutes total. I would have NEVER done this to any of my customers who offered me a round-trip Airport run out of courtesy and professionalism, especially if my customer was picking up lost luggage and they were already upset and inconvenienced by the Airport hospitality. This is also how you DO NOT attract repeat business for yourself or give a good impression for the Hotel Property you represent, which in this case unfortunately, is the Wyndham Bogota Hotel. My experience now is NOT to take the Hotels Taxis ever again. The property sits off a major street so you can always flag down a yellow taxi which is more reasonable and more flexible and always willing to bend their backs and give 100% unconditional utmost hospitable service to customers for repeat business in a very competive industry post COVID-19 era. Other than that, the Wyndham Bogota Hotel is "Excellent."
Great and safe location. Very Quiet.

United StatesThe attitude and the pretentiousness from the staff was terrible. The front desk staff acted as if they were doing you a favor by chucking you in, there was no follow up on issues, someone asked if I spoke English and then proceeded to talk to me in Spanish, and it seemed as if the staff was more concerned about avoiding customer interactions than doing their actual job. Room service was extremely slow. My wife waited 45 minutes for a dessert to be delivered. The free breakfast was terrible. The best thing they had were the hard boiled eggs.
The King suite that we selected was nice. The water pressure in the bathroom wasn’t great, but the room was decent. I prefer a much more firm mattress.
