Very centrally located in the old town, the hotel has an old and a new wing. My room (in the old wing) was spacious, functional and clean, overlooking the newly laid out inner court/garden. (If I am not mistaken, the bathroom/shower had been renovated). The people at the reception welcoming me genuinely friendly and very efficient. What struck me was the atmosphere at the hotel: at breakfast, there are a good share of guests (craftsmen, businessmen, tourists, ...) creating a pleasant buzz. PS: Breakfast offer is very elaborate and excellent service. Price, location, amenities, friendliness: all very good.

Location was excellent. It was close to many amenities - tram station, train station, grocery store, bakery etc. The apartment was well suited for a solo or a couple traveller. It has all one needs - a comfortable bed, bathroom, kitchenette, study table, TV, a fan, luggage rack etc.

A few amenities, if added, would have enhanced the experience - a full length mirror, an air conditioner, a washing machine, bath soap, a night lamp. But not having these was not a deal breaker.

The location was very close to a supermarket, and the neighbourhood was really nice. The room had all the facilities required for a couple of nights' stay. Overall, it was a nice place to spend a couple of nights.

The door lock took a few tries to open, and it may be upgraded. Apart from that, everything was fine for our stay.

I liked that for the price it had its own bathroom it was clean and it looked good. The check in time is really good and a great idea with the little key Safes in front of the door with the pin.

The Floor from other rooms was squicking a lot and people could be heard a little bit. And the addition of a small fridge would be great but not so important for the price. And the bed wasn't really comfortable for my taste but that's just my opinion.

Breakfast was exceptional. Nice to see options for gluten free and vegan. Room was very clean and staff were very pleasant. Coffee and tea available in lobby.

Wifi was very bad. You had to stand close to the door to get internet. Not suitable if you need to work. There's a bar under the hotel. It was very loud until quite late/early in the morning. You could even feel the vibration from the bass.

The check-in process was smooth and the room was clean.

The smoke alarm in the room was low on battery and kept beeping the whole night. Shouldn’t the staff check it before anyone check-in? And they charge you parking fee for €9 euro per car per night which is ridiculous I must say.
