Positive section of review
Beautiful view across the bay. Few mins walk to beach and bus stop. About 10-15 mins walk to ferry. Comfortable bed and very clean room. Owner was very helpful and supplied coffee for coffee machine. Very quiet. Great restaurant just down the steps a 1 min walk.

The “lobby” area is a restaurant and you can’t bring in other food so if you get take out, you have to eat it in your room but the rooms are very small so this was not super convenient. The courtyard area is nice but there are mosquitoes (I got 3 bites in 15min).

There were issues with trying to figure out things and no one around for several hours. When we finally connected with someone, he was very rushed to get to his next hotel…although he did help. The arrival email commented on ‘hot water all day thanks to the solar system’ but this was not the case for us!!! The fridge was quite warm when we arrived, although the freezer was cold. We were told it was because we put things into it…but isn’t that what fridges are for!?!? It was cold by the next morning…14 hours later. Possible it should be turned up before guests arrive in anticipation of them bringing food.🤷♀️

Street parking can be difficult. Mattress sagged a lot. Shower door was hard to close all the way. But the worst part was that the garbage in bathroom hadn’t been emptied from prior guests
