Jelajah is perfectly located in town just off the main road. The room was spotless when we checked in and we had delicious pancakes for breakfast every morning (20K). We also easily rented bikes for 60K per day and enjoyed the private terrace for our room. We also booked a Green Canyon body rafting tour through the guesthouse - just ask and it will be organized for you.

WiFi is only strong outside the room on the terrace. Water pressure is non-existent in the shower and no hot water, but a bucket is provided to dump on yourself. Not a huge problem, but you need to be flexible if you’re doing any tours and like to plan ahead. We wanted to do the Green Canyon tour and were told to wait til the morning to see if the conditions were right, if other people wanted to join, etc. This wasn’t an issue for us, but if you’re short on time make sure you make that clear.

The staff is great and the common areas are fantastic. The views over Padang from the balconies can’t be beat. We also appreciated the free coffee in the morning. They also serve food - the pumpkin curry was amazing! The WiFi is super strong which was a first during our travels in Indonesia. Overall, we’d stay here again.

Our sheets smelled a bit sour and there was a fair amount hair on the floor of our room when we checked in. Also - not a complaint but just fyi - the hostel is located up a very steep hill. If you have any mobility issues, this isn’t the hostel for you.

The room and restroom were big and style of the room had a good design. It was so close to the Padangbai port for going into Gili Island. Thanks to staff who packed our breakfast for early boat!!

Great value for what you pay. The beds are VERY comfortable (especially if you like softer beds) and the breakfast is varied and delicious. The staff was super helpful when we checked in at 3am.

The staff was amazing The location is really close to center it was around 15 minutes drive on bike and close to everything we will definitely come back !!!! Thank you :)

The property is designed more for couples, the privacy is great and clean and the staff are the best, very helpful, kind, always smiling and would go above and beyond

The property is one minute walk to the beach. The staff were wonderful and kind. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, and with beautiful views.

The shower head can do better and maybe needs to be replaced for better water pressure.

The location is good, breakfast is fine. The staff are friendly, rooms are bright and spacious.

The bathroom has some foul smell, also the room we stayed in has nice from the round is the night. Also the room had few garden insects.

Location was great the staff were wonderful

There were some building works going on right by the pool which wasn't great as it was quite noisy. We were out all day every day so it didn't really affect us but if you wanted an afternoon by the pool it's not ideal.
