The location of the hotel is great - right by the river, safe, and about a 15 minute walk from Firenze SMN station and most of the major tourist attractions in the city. The room is a typical European room, not large, but very clean. The staff was extremely friendly. If you're looking for good value and location then this hotel is worth your consideration. I read the negative reviews and for the most part the points they're raising are accurate, however you must keep in mind that you'll find hotels like this throughout Europe, and you have to leave your American biases behind. Frankly, there are other hotels in Florence that will meet American expectations but come with a cost.

Although the hotel is a short walk from Firenze SMN station, the streets leading to the hotel are mostly cobblestone so if you are dragging roller bags, it's best if you take a taxi. The hotel is located on the third floor, and the elevator is tiny so that may be a bit inconvenient if you're traveling with a lot of bags. I've been to many hotels like this in my European travels, where the hotel is on an upper floor (third floor in this case), tiny elevator, and staff that aren't onsite all day. This may sound like negatives, but this is very typical in Europe. The location, value and friendliness of staff more than make up for this.

If you're looking for a hotel near the airport due to ensure timely departure, then this is a great option. It's about a 15 min walk from the hotel to the airports check-in area. We had an early departure so this was an incredible option for me and my family. Rooms are a good size and clean. The onsite restaurant takes people without reservation and was a lovely way to cap off our trip to Rome. Staff was nice and spoke English. I would definitely recommend the Hilton at FCO and will come back.

The staff were incredible—kind, helpful, and went above and beyond when my airline lost my luggage for over 10 days. They helped me make calls, send emails, and even extend my stay at a fair price last minute. The hotel was cleaned daily, and both rooms I stayed in were spacious enough to comfortably lay out my things. The private bathroom was great, and when I switched to a different room, it was much more comfortable overall.

The price felt a bit high for the original room I booked. The fan was okay but not very strong, the table needed repair, and there was no fridge to keep water cold during the hot days. My first room didn’t have air conditioning, which made it less comfortable.

The staff unbelievable, breakfast was good and the location was great. The views from the room, breakfast area and pool are extraordinary!!

The hotel needs renovating. You’re able to renovate without loosing the Italian charm of the hotel. Especially the bathroom! There was mold on the walls which put a damper on my stay. I believe housekeeping could also be more effective. Stay was not cheap to say the least.

The sq ft was a little small for my family needs of 4 but nothing wrong with the hotel. Its hard to find bigger rooms in the right location. So I am all good
