This place gives you very local experience no doubt, but the room we booked said washroom available but unfortunately the WC was not working and we had to use the one with just the hole. The family is very sweet and food she cooked was delicious. I enjoyed my short horse riding trip as well. If you want to be cut off from rest of yurts and cars, and want to just walk round the mountains this place is perfect. Be mindful there is no electricity in the Yurt (like most of them) and sometimes no reception at all.

The place is on the other side of the lake, so it takes good 2.5/3 hours to reach from the start point of SongKul lake, take the south road even if its longer as it is flatter.

Perfect place to stay for a short stay, it is 5 mins walk to OSH market, and lot of other cafes. There is money exchange right next to the stay. They have a lot of common area to just sit and chill. The restaurant Raid inside the hotel have some good cocktail and food option but is only open in the evening,

Very calm and quiet place with a beautiful garden and fresh air! Muhammad the host was very kind, helpful and communicative. The food (breakfast and dinner) was delicious, healthy and in good portions. Overall, a totally recommended stay!

A very nice stay with an extremely kind and beautiful family running the yurt camp; the location is good and offers beautiful views, the yurt camp is compact and not jammed, the sleep was comfortable and warm. Highly recommended!

The house is beautifully made, we loved meeting new people in the dinning area, sitting in the garden, playing with the cat. Andre is very helpful and excellent host. We are for sure going back to Karakol and to his b&b.

Wonderful place. The rooms were decent sized, but in addition there is a wonderful private balcony with comfy sofas and a view of the garden. The real bonus are the lovely hosts and the excellent breakfast.
