The bathroom door was broken and the bed wasn’t very comfortable.

It has a very beautiful porch and you have your privacy.

Costa Rica is expensive and this was the first time I found a clean, safe place to stay at a price I could afford. The hosts were wonderful and flexible. I will stay here again if I come back to Uvita.

The place is so close to the National Park, I liked most that my room was so clean (is the first thing that I check). A really comfy place!

The kitchen was great, common areas all really well setup to provide shade when it's dry but cover for when it's raining. The rooms are small but very cosy and I was still able to fit all my luggage and bicycle in there! Amazing value for money!

Great location close to local shops and restaurants. The beach is only a ten to 15 minutes walk and there are lots of activities in the area to book if you wish. The accommodation is comfortable and clean. With a shared kitchen if you want to cook and/or store food.

We got the lowest price room, and that happened to be in a container. Facilities were just OK, very basic. Other houses were most likely better.

Location was walking distance from the Ballena NP. The whole property is a blooming garden! Very easy communication with the host.

Showers and kitchen are a bit old, but nothing too bad. Although the park, restaurants and shops are within 15 minute walk, I’d recommend to get a bike if you’re not a walker or have a car.

What a nice little place. Came for two nights and ended up staying a whole week. Attracts some really nice people and felt really nice and social. We had a communal dinner with a bunch of people almost every night. The place feels really secure and is tucked away in a really nice like neighbourhood where most of the neighbours around are part of the family that owns the plans. The owners are super nice and really helpful. Place is close to the beach and right besides a bakery and some small supermarkets. Apperently they are only just getting started, would love to see where the place is going!

This is a relatively new camping area- things are being improved daily. The tables and chairs don’t always match in height and the kitchen has an odd assortment of plates and bowls etc. In time, I think they will develop a fridge system so that outgoing people’s food is thrown out and there is space.

Great atmosphere; really close to the beach and good value for money. George was very helpful. The showers were decent (cold) and the toilets were clean. The cooking and eating area was good.

Very small coffee maker & small kitchen counter area/space but did have 3 burner stove.

Close to the Ballena National Park and bus stop. Cute a-frame cabin with a bed inside.
