The room was pretty basic but it was fine for the proximity to the airport and price.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They prepared a good dinner for us and made airport transports arrangements for us giving us good local information of traffic and when we should leave for the airport. Our transport was very early in the morning and they arrived right on time and we made it to the airport with no problems. The transport was a private car but it was all comped by the hotel. The hotel grounds were nice and felt safe and secure. We only stayed one night preflight so I don’t have anything to say about the surrounding area.

The building and greenery was beautiful, gated entrance which was really nice to separate from the city, staff were very friendly.

This time I stayed in room 13 I believe (far right corner, second floor) and the mattress was the least comfortable I have experienced compared to other rooms I stayed in (other mattresses were better), and it would be helpful to have a second table/night stand on the other side of the bed.

I stay here every time I travel to/from San Jose. The family and staff are friendly, the location is easy to get to and well-known by taxi drivers, it's safe and secure, beautiful property to relax in, many restaurants nearby, and the breakfast and shuttle services are a nice treat.

There was no sign for the hotel on the street or gate so difficult to find. Bed a bit hard for me.

Hotel is in a close and convenient location to airport but location is very loud in the morning with traffic and planes. There’s nothing they can do about that.

We did check out the hotel on google maps and realized it was very close to the airport so we were prepared and brought earplugs. This was really helpful as you will hear the planes landing and taking off. This is an amazing spot great value for the money and would stay here again but be prepared and bring ear plugs. By the way, most of the other hotels in the area will have the same issue, this one is better value. I have travelled to CR on a few occasions in the past.

The airport shuttle is only from the Hotel to the airport and only early in the day.

Did not expect the grounds to be that nice. Considering the neighborhood, I expected to see an average hotel. Not to say that the neighborhood was not good. We walked up the street after dinner. Typically, you have to watch your footing in the dark because there are no sidewalks. The people were friendly and nice. A safe place to walk after dark.

I think the portion size for the meals could have been better and the bathroom could have been upgraded slightly with a plant in the bedroom!

Wifi - not working by our room. We had to go to near the office to use it. Really not convenient from our room. They advertise a free shuttle from the airport. This is only true between 04:00 and 13:00 hrs. Not accurate advertising. They only accept US cash. Why not accept local currency. We are Canadian. 😳
