Great location with easy access to the city buses. Large rooms and beds made for a comfortable stay and the staff is so kind and hospitable. This is my second time at the property and I will definitely come again!

Road noise was annoying after while. I from 4 am on there was lots of motorcycle traffic and they are louder than cars by far. But we were ok with it. Really my only complaint.

Big beautiful room. King size Bed comfy. Lots of places to hang things up. Good Breakfast Nice pool

My room was next to the breakfast table so I woke up every morning at 7AM by loud Americans. The hotel is very old, there is mould to see in lots of places and it is all in all very basic.

The people were friendly, you can easily go to manuel antonio park, the pool is okay, there is breakfast but you pay for it, basic.

Great location and breakfast was great didn't get a chance to swim in the pool but noticed it was very well maintained. Staff were great and even had some Landry done at a reasonable cost.

The room AC dumped a lot of water on our bed and end table in the middle of the night. It was fixed the day after. The breakfast is very bland, boring and the same options every day. We needed unexpected checkout at 10pm. We could not find anyone to reach out. I had to ask for help to the family living there.

Location, Location, Location!! We needed a place close to the beaches and the national park. We found this one in the middle for both and away from the downtown. The rooms and very big and comfortable. We did not use the pool at it was raining most of the days in the evening.

If breakfast was included then this would be a great value! You can pay extra for breakfast, but there is not a restaurant for other meals.

Overall this hotel is quite nice. It is right in the middle of Quepos and Manuel Antonio, so you can get to either town very easily by taking the public bus for a dollar or 380 colones. The rooms were far enough from the main road that it wasn't too noisy. There aren't a ton of guests, which is nice. The pool was refreshing. The bed was comfortable and bathrooms were okay, although they do not include shampoo. Room cleaning cost extra.

Proximity to the road. A lot of noise from the road when using the swimming pool or patio.

Very clean and charming. Very close to the road but we didn't hear anything from inside our room. Very close to Manuel Antonio (by car).

The lock was tricky and steps to entrance need some repairs.

Staff was super nice and very helpful. Love them both, Hermina and Ana Karina were the best! Great location. Ana Karina gives a great physio massage and follows with suggested excercises. They helped me deal with a nasty iguana bite so it would not get infected...many thanks!

The curtains weren't big enough to cover the windows especially when our room was near the entrance so everyone could see us and we them, so not so private. The room was clean but unfortunately there were little roaches in the bathroom in the night. The pool isnt heated

The unique thing about this hotel is that you are litteraly surrounded by monkeys. We were sitting in our room and outside the window just casually walked by a capuchin monkey 🐒, like 'wassup?' And on the near trees next to the hotel - squirrel monkeys are playing, just going crazy among all the branches and electric cables all over the surrounding area. Walk above you not caring. Great location, 10min drive to Manual Antonio national park. The hotel manager was really nice and friendly, she let us keep our stuff there after the check out. Has a big pool, but you need sun with it otherwise kind of cold.

Small things could be improved, related with security special if you have kids. Also towels and sheets need a replacement. Besides that it's fine for a few nights

was incorrectly listed as Hotel Colibri when it should have been Hospedaje Colibri. It’s a different location on google maps and we had booked thinking it was closer to a supermarket when it’s not.

clean, nice property. easy convenient access to public bus across the street.

The breakfast was excellent. Definitely choose the typical Costa Rica breakfast option. We had ripe plantains every morning that came from Danny's family. The location was right on the Monteverde/ Quepos bus line. The buses came by often and was only 370 colones. The pool was clean and looked nice but we didn't use it. The AC plus the fan kept the room very comfortable. There was a good, simple restaurant just a short walk towards Quepos called Mimos that we went to several times. Be cautious while walking due to traffic and sharp turns.

My first night was terrible! First they gave me a very smelly room. The room had this really strong smell of humidity. The bed sheets had that strong smell too. The room looked really old and unhealthy. When I arrived the window was open and the mosquito net was broken. There was one small lamp that didn't work and it was quite dirty too. During the night one of the bed slats fell. Tried to take a shower in the morning and when I turned it on, some kind of fuse blew and some sparks and smoke came out of the shower head. Knowing that it's all connected to the power I ended not showering there afraid to get electrocuted. The guy that came to fix it actually slightly electrocuted himself twice while fixing it. Finally that room was near the road, the pool and also by the breakfast area so it was quite noisy all the time.

Overall my stay was good, but I must say that it started pretty bad for the reasons mentionned below. Good that the staff was nice and helpful as they moved me to another room after I complained. The second room I had was so much nicer. It such a shame that I had to go through that on the first night.

Run down - old and poorly maintained. Hot Shower broken and actually shock me when trying to adjust. Definitely a dangerous situation. Needless to say, there was no hot water and cold showers had to be taken

The staff - Jimena was terrific. She was incredibly helpful.

Absolutely nothing. We loved this place and will recommend it highly.

Room and property impeccable in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Small family owned and operated making a welcoming environment. Pool was lovely, breakfast (included) was delicious and had 3 options with coffee and juice served right outside your room on the terrace. Air conditioner works great. Bed was comfortable and water pressure also awesome. The staff very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend if visiting Manuel Antonio.

Traffic noise is substantial, but mellows after 10pm.

It’s right between Quepos and Manuel Antonio. We brought a group of high school students, and chose it because it’s far enough from everything and sneaky midnight excursions are unlikely… The staff is kind and helpful, buses are easy to catch from the parking lot, the a/c is excellent and the courtyard and pool area are pretty and tidy.

Hotel Colibri was located in a beautiful area, quiet and peaceful. The food was delicious and the hosts were exceptional. My son was in the hospital the fist night we arrived, the host gave us a free night to recuperate! They were very helpful and generous! I very much recommend this hotel! Thank you for your hospitality
