Location is good, and mostly, the staff (Greg was very, very helpful.) I canceled my first reservation, and the hotel allowed it at no charge 😊, therefore later, I gave them my business. Sweet, colorful houses, breakfast was very good. Rooms very small and some exposed to their very loud disco. The staff gave us elderly folks a room in the back where we were mostly spared the ongoing bum-bum at night

When I arrived the sheets weren‘t changed and the bathroom was really dirty. We talked to the lady at the reception and she did help us immediately and was really friendly. But would be nice if it would‘ve been clean first round :)

I booked a 4 bed room (2 bunk beds) because we were a group of 4 friends but in the first night we got a 6 bed room shared with other 2 guests and the ceiling was so low that it was difficult to get in the upper beds. We requested a change but it was until the second night that we got the booked room.

The pool and bar area is really nice and the location is pretty convenient.

Toilet smelled weird and dirty and felt like they did not clean them that well. Also not organized so people know which bed they can take. i stayed 2 nights and slept in 2 different beds in the same room, kitchen is fine But small and very warm and gets crowded

The town of Samara, was small with limited restaurants and amenities for us.

The dorm I was in felt like being in an old moist basement. The smell was bad, and there was only one power outlet for four people. I stayed for three nights and they didn’t clean the bathroom or emptied the trash while I was there.

The hostel is basically right next to the beach which is nice, and there is a good vibe in the outdoor area.

Booked the place for the location and because it was one of only 2 in town accepting credit cards but was pleasantly surprised and extended for a week. Rooms were dark and somewhat dated (but, e.g., while my AC was very old, saw the room next door have a brand new one so they may be upgrading things) and the kitchen, although well-equipped, a total mess in grave need of some food marking/scheduled disposal practices. Still, the property overall was amazing – very friendly and efficient staff, big pool with multiple lounge chairs, on-site restaurant with great food (and music), and a bar with different events every night but far enough to keep the rooms quiet.

No hot water.

Loved the proximity to the beach, and that we could walk to lots of restaurants and shops. The little pool was very nice for cooling off after a hot day, and the breakfast was great. The ambiance was a bit like a hostel, but clean and comfortable. Friendly staff, laundry available and a community kitchen .

Filth and property condition - Our bathroom and shower were dirty to the point of being disgusting. The kitchen was unclean. The refrigerator was so full of everybody’s food that, at times, the door would not close and simply hung open. There was dirt everywhere in the laundry area, and the room was not usable; the room had a washer and dryer, but both were broken and covered with filth. Generally, the property was rundown and appeared not to have been maintained for many years. There is a lot of potential, but it is not realized.

Location - The property is conveniently located to the beach, restaurants, and downtown. Staff - The staff were available and VERY helpful with information and advice.

I’ll preface this review by saying I’m pretty easygoing. All I was hoping for was a shower and a clean bed so I could get a good nights sleep before leaving early the next morning. However, It was chaos from the start. After we checked in we found out our small room shared a wall with the pool/club/bar and so we were kept up by (honestly, a pretty good) DJ playing a set with suuuuuper loud bass until 12:00am or so. We had to pay for ear plugs at the front desk and there was no prior warning or notice or discount due to the rooms proximity to the speakers. The staff worked with us on a refund due to a shorter stay than expected which was nice (hasn’t hit my bank account yet so 🤷‍♀️) but ultimately it was an uncomfortable night.

The volunteers at the reception didn‘t really know anything about the place, they couldn‘t answer to any of our questions for example about the beaches nearby or the rentals of surfboards etc. Also there was no A/C so the room got veeeery hot to sleep
