The view is amazing - the hotel is up on the hills above Playa Hermosa, so you can sit and watch the ocean (and hear the waves crashing!). Toucans flit around the trees - didn't see any monkeys, but we were awakened by howler monkeys, a most efficient alarm clock! Be aware that the rooms are cabins without a/c, but all feel nice and secluded with ocean and/or jungle views!

The view was perfection. It made it hard to leave for the beach each morning! As for the food, genuinely, it was absolutely incredible! I ordered two entrees for myself each night just to enjoy as many first generation genuine Italian dishes as I could. Two words: Carbonara & Ravioli. They were like heaven.

Jaw dropping. The room, the restaurant and the staff were really great. We spent hours on the balcony watching wildlife, very secluded and romantic. The restaurant views are amazing, supper at sunset is breathtaking. We couldn’t recommend this place more! We will definitely be back. Hard to choose because we were fortunate to have some great accommodations, but this is certainly at the top of our list.

Maybe the last 100m of the road I didn't like but I managed to drive all the way through to the property with a normal rented car, so I am not sure if I have anything to complain about. :)

This stay was for sure the highlight of our 3 weeks' travel in Costa Rica. The view and the sound of the sea waves form the perfect combination with one of the best Italian restaurants we have ever visited, and we were many times in Italy...

I had not realized there would be no air conditioning. I did not read that detail. However the nightly breeze and the overhead fan were a great replacement. During the day if needing to be in the room it was not as cool. But the hammocks on the property with the breeze made a great place for a nap.

Wonderful breakfast selection each day. The view of the ocean and scenery was amazing.

I could use a hair dryer.

This place is not just about the stunning views, the italian owners Francesca and Luca and their two dogs will make you feel like you are part of their family. Breakfasts (there is a italian restaurant too) are freshly made and you won't be able to eat it all. In the room is comfortable large bed, shower with view on the ocean, fridge and a Coffee maker. Warnning: don't stay there if you dont want to see the birds in the morning, feel the moonlight at night and sleep where the ocean sing its song.

Really nice place to stay with a beautiful view from the hill to the ocean. The landlords are polite and sympatic, their food is very tasty. Francesca and Luca run even an italian restaurant, so you can have a very good lunch or/and dinner there.

The room does not have air conditioning but we managed to sleep well and cool off with the multiples fans in the room. Access to the property is a bit tricky because it's a narrow route and you would need a SUV car to get there.

Very close to nature. The restaurant was great, italian style. The manager treated us very well and the staff was really nice. The location is a bit far from the beach but it gives you a quiet stay.

It was dark when I got there, a little hard to find.

The view was amazing. The bed very comfortable. I had trickling stream on one side window and the sound of the ocean on the other…got a beautiful nice sleep. The staff was wonderful , helping me with luggage and making me an amazing breakfast. Highly recommend.
