Almost a mile from town, a long walk if you have no vehicle. Breakfast was good, but not always available due to a shortage of help.

Great jungle setting. Will was very helpful, speaks English. Take shortcut to beach and follow beach into town, a beautiful walk. Bus stop is right across the street.

receptionist wasn’t there when we checked in, but his cousin helped us out so all good (although we were given the wrong key) - nothing that couldn’t be fixed

it is a beautiful spot near Manzanillo national park. you feel very immersed in nature, hearing howler monkeys as you fall asleep (more peaceful than you may think). the staff are super friendly and the beds were extremely comfortable

An AC would be nice, fan seems not enough for a room with 4 persons.

We were there for only a very short time, but there appeared to be a shortage of kitchen and self catering facilities.

The owner was super nice and super helpful - we arrived around 8pm, he offered to give us a free lift to the town to get dinner and pick us up. The room was nice, and very clean even though it was a jungle lodge themed place. We were given towels for our stay. It was close to Manzanillo walking distance and fairly accessible from Puerto Viejo main town.

Only cold water shower

The host was very friendly and hospitable. Our room was very nice. The high ceilings and the openair bathroom were beautiful. It's around 1.5 km away from Manzanillo but the street is easily walkable, also during the night. Make sure you bring a flash light!

will and his wife make this an excellent place to stay. they are so friendly and helpful even to the point of driving us to rent bikes and even onto our next hotel a couple of miles down the road. They are super chilled which is spot on for this location.

There was a cut in the water supply while we where there. So we did not have water for several times while we stayed there. Unfortunately we only learned about it upon check out and had no one to speak to about that while we where there because the owner was not there at that time. But normally this should now be an issue so I have no reservation recommending this place.

location is great, very close to the town of manzanillo and a short drive away from puerto viejo. The building itself is beautiful and nestled in the jungle, very calming place to relax. The owners are very friendly and helpful, they made us feel immediately at home. Great value for money as well. Would highly recommend.

Curtains don't block out much light, and the light on the stairs came straight into our room.

When I first got here I was a bit skeptical, but the longer I stayed the more I enjoyed it. The owners were away to begin with, but we meet them on our last day and they are lovely. The location a little bit out, but they have bikes you can use which was fantastic. So glad we stayed here rather than Puerto Veijo.

The location is great! And super friendly! I would say: this could be a perfect place if it would be taken care of a little bit more! It was not dirty, but also not really clean… it would need a little investment to make it better! On the other hand: that might be European expectations… as overall we enjoyed our stay! As said: perfect location and the studio gave us the freedom to cook! Open bathroom… what should we ask for more?
