Second time staying here. We really enjoyed the relaxed ambiance of this B&B and the great breakfast. The host can arrange airport taxi at a decent price.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, and views out over the city make this a real gem of a B&B. I would definitely stay here again. If going to the ferry dock it is about a 20 minute walk (downhill)

It was a bit annoying I could not pay with card.

The view was super nice! The residential is situated on a hill so you can see all the way to the sea, and a beautiful sunset! The breakfast was super good and fulfilling. The room was spacious and very clean.

The WiFi signal didn't reach our room at all so we had to sit in the common area where it worked. If you have a SIM card with data, then it is not a big problem. There is a central air-shaft that most of the rooms share so if your neighbor is being loud, you can hear it (bring earplugs if you are sensitive to the noise).

Katie, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. The shared bathroom and common areas were always kept clean. A staff member was around all day if we had any questions or needed help with anything. Breakfast (included) was good with some variety. One morning they even prepared cacupha, which was delicious! The location is good - just a short walk to the center where everything is located.

The host is waiting for a foam pad to improve the mattress. It was very uncomfortable to sleep on. It is a longer walk from the bedroom to the bathroom than I would like.

The view is nice and the breakfast was plentiful. The room was adequate. The host was amazing and friendly, I felt very welcome. She answered all my questions and was quite helpful.

Katy, the owner is very friendly and speaks good English and can help you with your questions. I stayed twice (in between I was on Santo Antao). Big room with good shower, nice breakfast on the balcony. It is 15mins to the city, 20mins to the ferry (a little bit more coming back, as you have to walk up).

The cloth hangers in the bedroom were broken and the internet doesnt work in the bedrooms. It only works in the main living room and terrase.

the breakfast was great, the owner is really nice, she comes to the residence sometimes. There is hot water avail. The room is huge! The neighborhood is nice and quiet. For the same price you can rent a room with a private bathroom but this residence is still good and well kept.

Our room had a bathroom with a shower that needed some upgrades. (Why did it seem that the hardware holding the shower heads in all our bathrooms in Cabo Verde needed repair? Maybe, because they were all by the same manufacturer?) Anyway, we got clean and the hot water felt good. Also, the room and bathroom were clean and Katy promised the upgrades as soon as possible.

I was worried that the location would be too far from the center of Mindelo. In fact, it was a short walk both to the center of Mindelo and to the beach, admittedly a walk downhill and then a return uphill. It was even closer to our two favorite music venues: Metalo Fast Good (sic) and Birdie Jazz. Also, Katy and her team were great. Breakfast was an event, eating on a balcony overlooking Mindelo.

Nothing! To say something, the way back from the city is a bit hard if you are not used to walking uphill, but taxis are quite affordable.

Excellent treatment from the hostess, who facilitates everything that is in her hands to make your staying pleasant and comfortable. It is like 10' away by foot from the city center (downhill). The room and bathroom are spotless!

Katy was super helpful and friendly. I ran into her at a local supermarket and she greeted me and was able to help me with getting a local SIM card. View from the terrace is beautiful and just as pictured. Even though I left at 5:45 am to catch the morning ferry, breakfast was already prepared and was substantial to start the day.

The only downside in the room was the light coming from the bathroom as it has a glass door, but that's no big deal!

Our room and bathroom were very spacious and clean, we had a great view from the balcony and the city centre was quite close. Our host was really helpful and thoughtful, she arranged our taxi very early in the morning and made sure it arrived for us. She also packed a takeaway breakfast for us at 6am. She's amazingly kind!
