There was some noise from other visitors into the night, but it's more the peoples fault than the hotels.

Hotel Amadeus has a good location, nearby the bus station and nearby the Zizka monument in Zizkov. The surrounding area is quite nice , although at the moment there is also a lot of street reconstruction going on. We also had breakfast included and it was a good decision, as it was quite tasty. The staff were also nice and helpful, so overall it felt good.

Highly recommended. Good location, nice value for money. The rooms are spacious, clean and cosy. It had a fridge, cooking top, pans, cutlery and cups. It also had a balcony. The staff is super friendly and helpful. You can buy the local public transport day ticket on the reception, which is quite practical. There is a tram and bus station nearby. It's also quite close to the Florenc bus station.

While clean, the room was quite simple and amenities basic. "Satellite TV" seems misleading, as the channels were all in the local language (and, er, provided by O2, a local TV provider). Drapes/blinds hung a bit far off the window for the privacy likes of some. Courtyard means you may hear guests – and staff – at odd hours of the night.

Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent WiFi. Safe, quiet location at the heart of a lively party neighborhood. Would recommend for any type of traveler, particularly those looking for an "off the beaten path" authentic/local experience.

Very nice hotel! I liked their art-nouveau rooms! So nice and original. Good WiFi, perfectly clean and in one of the most beautiful and quiet areas of Prague. Friendly staff, fair price and the best area of Prague! They allowed me to check in from 10:30h already as they offered it in their booking! Strongly recommended!

Breakfast is not included in price and is a bit expensive. We had small problem with our door. It was really windy outside and the wind was blowing under the door.

The apartment are generally well-appointed, but the kitchen facilities are slightly basic. You get some pots and pans and glasses, but as far as I could tell there were no cups, which would be an easy addition to make. There were some building works going on when I was there, but these are temporary and did not disturb my sleep.

nice spacious room with a comfortable double bed for a very reasonable price. The studio I had had a decent kitchenette and a small sofa and table. The hotel is wrapped around a small pleasant garden courtyard with as far as I can tell the studios on one side and the regular rooms on the other. Location is fine, in the main Zizkov hotel area. Staff pretty helpful. I didn't try the breakfasts

Quite a lot of rooms next to each other and the walls aren't very thick, so you might hear a lot... In my case, there was also a strange "smoky" smell in the bathroom, which I couldn't locate, where it was coming from, so that will stay a mystery for me :/

The location of the hotel is OK, in a walk-able distance from the main bus station, polite and helpful staff at the reception, quick check-in and check out. The single room itself was OK for one night, the room features also a small fridge, which is always a nice plus. Room wasn't big, but for one person, no problem.

The room as advertised through Booking.com was labelled as 'Smoking Room', though it wasn't, which is not good! There are outdoor terraces to sit and smoke if needed. Everything else was very good.

Very friendly, helpful staff on the 24 hour front desk which has coffee and other refreshments. My room on the second floor was big, very clean, bright and airy. Mine had a new bathroom with soap and shampoo, hairdryer and towels. Very good water pressure and temperature. Coffee, tea making goods kettle and bar fridge in room. Great location if using nearby public transport, with some very interesting, lesser known sights within easy walking distance. Bars and corner stores abound in this area. Most, like this hotel, are open 24 hours. Shuttle service from the Vaclav Havel airport, arranged through the hotel, was good and punctual, with knowledgeable local driver.

Good location. Some impressive sites within walking distance, others easily reached by public transport. Clean, comfortable bright and airy rooms with good new bathrooms. Very friendly, helpful staff - 24 hour front desk. Many bars and restaurants in the area, open almost all night, it seems. An old building that has been renovated nicely. The room was rather stylish. Very friendly staff. I really liked the location. There are some nice restaurants right nearby. it was an "alright" hotel, there is nothing to complain about. it's not the super fancy spot nor was it brand new or fresh but it's was Ok for what we needed - a decent, quiet place to stay at good price and perfect connection to the centre and to anywhere from there, Great for real travellers who prefer spending money on travelling and seeing places and still want the privacy of your own room. Zizkov has more authenticity to me than the heart of Prague so this place was pefect.

Selection of coffee or tea with the kettle rather than just one tea bag and tablet soap as standard.

With several trips required to local villages the staff were able to propose best value means of transport and arranged them. This is a good basic hotel clean, welcoming and helpful, ideal as a base to explore from. The neighbourhood is old but upcoming with many large old properties being renovated and developed for multi occupation, buildings mid to late 1800's. There are local taverns and restaurants and one is made welcome. If you are older, beware of cobbled streets in poor light as footing can be problematic but it is a part of the charm. I would be happy to return.

They could clean the rooms better. I expect when I visit a hotel it is cleaner than my house and I am wondering 'how do they get that so clean?' not 'I could have that looking cleaner than this given half an hour!'

I had the opportunity to see two rooms in the hotel and it looked as though the cleaners do only surface cleaning there. You could see that the mops, brooms, or vacuum doesn't get into the corners, there were crumbs still on the floor from the previous guests in our room. Severe soap scum build up in the shower, mold in the shower, the toilet stunk worse than a sewer when flushed. The staff were really kind and tried to take care of it immediately but whatever it was they did it didn't help. The doors to the closet were broken off and placed on the side of the wardrobe and many of the shelves in the wardrobe were broken and wobbly. Almost every surface I passed my hand along produced dust on my hands. They had a pedal bin in the bathroom, which only tipped over each time you stepped in the pedal. The staff were so friendly and kind.

Wonderful budget hotel. Decent room with very comfy foam beds. Location is a short tram ride to the heart of the city which can be reached on foot. Check out the local bars and a lovely Mediterranean restaurant, La Casa, which is a stone's throw from the hotel. Friendly staff - I needed to ask for a hairdryer but they were able to supply one on the basis I returned it the next day. Budget room so no kettle, but otherwise great. A little warm in the room at times as no air con as far as I could see but okay with open windows and quiet outside. Bathroom spotless. WiFi fast.
