Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyWe noticed that our room was not as pictured in the webpage, a little outdated, and not as comfortable as expected. The mattresses where too soft and the pillows were too thin. The bathroom had what was needed but also not as the pictures in the webpage.
The restaurant at the hotel was great! We really enjoyed having lunch there. And the staff was also very helpful.

Reception staff was kind enough to allow early check-in at no extra charge. A good breakfast spread which included some hot cooked food items. Staff were kind enough to warm up some cold milk for me. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Location was good. A 6-min walk to Ceskomoravska metro station that brings you to city centre. Adjacent to Harfa Galleria Mall with many shops, restaurants and a supermarket. Easy access from airport by bus and metro.

I am vegan, and hotel staff accommodated my diet request, as I had an option of freshly made hummus, baked beans and vegetables available for breakfast. I would particularly like to praise Abraham, who was an excellent receptionist, very knowledgeable, approachable and made me and my colleagues feel very welcomed! Excellent sense of humor too. Thank you.

HungaryWhen we arrived, we were not given the right room. I also indicated that we were not given the one shown in the picture, but they solved the problem and we moved to the right room. But after that everything was fine.
The hotel is located a bit far from the center, but it can be easily reached by tram and metro. The breakfast was plentiful, and the bed was comfortable. The receptionists were friendly and helpful.

LuxembourgI upgraded for an executive suite and the room we got was not the picture presented. Our room did not have a balcony and even though the floor space was big, it didn't feel as big because of the slanted roof. The TV and bathroom could have been better. I walked past an executive room on the same floor and it was modern and nice - had we not upgraded and gotten that room, this rating would have been a 10.
The receptionist was very nice and great that the hotel has parking. The restaurant downstairs was delicious and was great value for money.

DenmarkThere isn’t aircondition in The rooms unfortunately, but only a fan. And with that on, the room was still very hot. But we also went in august, so when off the summer season, that shouldn’t be a problem. The hotel is also a little far from the city, we took the tram which took 30 minutes to centrum and costed 2,5€ both ways, but that worked great for us, and then we got to try the great food options in the area.
Very friendly staff, and cozy rooms. The neighborhood had a great selection of all different kinds of food, where The hotels resturant were delicious too.

Stayed here 3 times now I think, lovely and quiet and a few minutes walk from the nearest metro, the O2 arena and a big shopping centre. The metro takes you into the Old Town area with just 4-5 stops so a good base if you dont want to be too close to the crowds. Good value. Breakfast was fine.
