The rooms were a bit dated, but I felt it added to the charm.

Lovely old hotel in a prime location. Room was exceptionally clean, and there was a great view from the balcony over the park.

Stairway was not in use, had to use elevator all the time.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating, they had solution for non-standard requests. Location is also great, very close to the city center and sightseeing routes. Rooms are old but refurbished. Overall recommendation for short stay.

Hotel is centrally located which means it's easy to walk to all attractions but it is on a tram line which makes its very noisy.

Lack of bedside reading lamps. Generally, the reception staff was very friendly and helpful, but there was one guy who was really off-hand (reluctant to call for a taxi, refused to accept laundry).

The room was very spacious and bright, the location is very good. Breakfast offers excellent choice. Generally, there's an atmosphere of old-world-charme with this hotel.

Facilities like WiFi which was very unstable, they do not have facilities to iron, only cleaning staff will do at a charge between 9:00-14:00. For business travellers it is no go.

We weren't allowed to use the stairs. I've never seen such a thing (and wonder about fire safety). It said we would have a large double bed, but there were just two singles, together in a frame - with an uncomfortable wooden strip between the two halves - this is really not good enough. There was the promised fridge, but it was empty and unplugged, which seemed a bit unwelcoming. The breakfast was a little sad, certainly not as much choice as the publicity photos showed, and the coffee was undrinkable, which is a shame, given the same room had a proper bar with a real espresso machine in it.

Lots of space in the rooms. Nice area, on the edge of the old town, and near the football ground and the Pilsen Urquell brewey. Quiet hotel and surroundings, and a beautiful building.

Frankly: except the super friendly receptionist and the staff at breakfast there was not much I liked. What a missed chance for such a great property. Rooms have renovated bathrooms. Rest of the room is from the seventies. Restaurant and bar closed at 20:30 hrs. Breakfast was very very basic. From what one can make out of this, it is such a waste of the great opportunity!

The staff at reception and breakfast. And the location of the property.

The building itself was a bit old, which particularly affects the thermo-insulation in winter time. But the room had a good soundproof.

I didn´t like the windows in the whole hotel. It was disturbing to hear trams in the very morning. It doesn´t fit to the hotel concept and you could feel cold from them.

The only thing I can add here - well, the shower has no door or curtain, only a bit too narrow glass wall, so you can make floor wet easily. But seriously, that's not a problem at all!

Location is perfect, 1 minute walk to the main square. Room was huge, clean and warm. Modern, HUGE, very clean bathroom. Security - you can only access living floors via elevator. To make it move - you need a card key. Breakfast - varied, all good. Our stay was really nice, we'll definitely come back if we get to Pilsen again.

The restaurant was closed, but we were recommended a local restaurant by the staff and it is was a great recommendation.

This was such a great atmospheric hotel and excellent value for money. The rooms were good, but as someone else said there is no air-con - however the rooms had ceiling fans. The location in Plzen is good, within easy walking distance to the main square and the Pilsner Urquell brewery, in what felt like a very safe city. We were riding motorbikes and asked in advanced for secure parking which was provided by way of a secure gated alley way (in reflection we think the bikes would have been safe in the dedicated parking places outside of the hotel too). The Pilsner beer in the bar was good and the price was excellent value. The breakfast was also very good. If you want a hotel in Plzen (Pilsner) with a grand former communistic atmosphere feeling, this is it and it really made it for me. I would deffinately stay here again as I loved the place and the staff were so helpful.

No AC in the room, so you will have to open the window which results in noise from the street and mosquitos in the room. The mini bar was empty. Technically there is no point in having a mini bar if you will have to go down to the reception to get a bottle of water or a drink. The breakfast was poor.

Rooms could have a little more asseccoires (such as water heater). Stairs could not be used, only the elevator could be used (what happens in case of fire???). Parking lots were were private but with direct access from the nearby park (where some dubious people were loitering around).

Breakfast was better than the other ratings have indicated (however it was not highest standard). WiFi was free and sufficiently fast. Large rooms and a real vintage breakfast hall. The location is very good, only 100 meters to the central place of Pilsen and next to a park.

The breakfast could have opened earlier. Now it opened at 7 and we didn't have time to eat before going to work. However they did fix us basic breakfast bags instead. I also missed a water boiler in the room to make some Tea or coffe. Also I need to mention that there where no open emergency exit at first! All where locked from the wrong side of the door. After mentioning it we tested again and then ond of them where possible to use.
