How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The room was superb. So many little things had been thought about. The breakfast was exceptional, with so much choice. The location was extremely convenient for the centre of town and the event we were attending.

Nothing really, wasn't anything to not like. The hotel met and exceeded our expectations
Excellent service from beginning to end. The hotel booked our shuttles to and from the airport, asked every question we threw at them. Location was just off the beaten track, so, quiet but within an easy walk to everything that was going on.

Everything was superb!
I was fortunate to get an upgrade and the room was fantastic. I really like the Television functionality also where one can log into ones own Netflix, Primevideo and GoogleTV.

Nothing. Every thing was alright.
This hotel is central, clean and have a very good breakfast. It also have a nice bar with the happy hour. Staff are very helpfull. And its very near the metro staton. They also gave a me a bottle of wine as a surprise for my birthday.. Cant ask for more. Great hotel!

The room was a bit small, I've got some trouble with opening a big suitcase and still being able to navigate the room. The windows were locked, thus no fresh air - and it quite puzzled me, as some other rooms in the hotel did have openable windows. The floor plan is pretty specific, with two separate wings - and you may get a staircase between the elevator and your corridor (which I've got), which is pretty inconvenient, if you have a bulky or heavy luggage. Finally, the parking cost is rather high and there's almost no chance to park near the hotel for some 10...15 min to check-in and unload luggage.
The hotel sits in a good location, rather close to different points of interest. My room had rather big and comfy bed. Nice and helpful staff.

Loved everything!
Great location, breakfast was great with many choices of hot and cold food, the room was large and had lovely timbered roof. The bed was so comfortable and the linens were soft and high quality. The lounge had happy hour every day! The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We stayed with a tour at another hotel for 2 days, then extended our stay in Prague at the Majestic for 3 days. No comparison!The Majestic was much nicer, and cheaper. We would definitely stay here again!

The location of this hotel is great. Short walk to the sights of Prague and close transport links. The breakfast choice was really good with hot and cold self service choices. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else when returning to Prague.

Only once did I ask to change my sheets using the special card. However, they did not change them; it was done only the next day. Also, the cleaner took the "change my sheets" card with her! LOL. Anyway, the next day, all was okay! Small things, but...
