We used the hotel for work, it suited us that the railway station was nearby, the trams went to the exhibition center in front of the house. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were clean.

For the very expensive price, the breakfast was ok but not enough variety, just above average food selection with staff not cleaning vacated tables and not refilling bacon etc until asked to. Also the spa was being renovated and not in use. Also the place advertised air conditioning which was inactive as it's not warm weather so this choice was unavailable with the room too warm and uncomfortable to sleep in.

The location was great, across the road from the train station and the room was very nice.

Whilst the bathroom was excellent size there was no wall mounting for the shower head, which was a shame as everything else was very good.

Excellent location close to Brno Central Station and walking distance from the Old Town. Close to tram stops for further exploring. The room was a very good size with plenty of storage space if staying for an extended period. Very friendly reception staff.

It was cold in the room (19 degrees Celsius), the next day we requested a direct heater, which heated the room to 20 for 6 hours, there was no plug in the bathroom, so we could not heat it up while bathing. There was no lemon at breakfast (unless you asked) and the refilling of the food was also slow. This should not happen in a hotel of this type.

Our room faced to the street and it was very noise, especially because of the trams. They didn't have lactose free or plant-based milk, despite it's a 4* hotel and when I asked for it, the staff were very rude.

The sauna was under construction but nothing really one can do about that.

Breakfast was delicious. Room, beds, and toilet were clean and spacious. A lot of room for three adults. Very close to main train station, which was convenient for luggage. Lovely stay.

There was very loud construction noise from rooms nearby so I could not relax in the room during the day.

Grandhotel Brno is a top hotel. My room was beautiful and spacious including a large corner bath tub. There is television, minibar and coffee machine in the room. Although the windows faced the street the noise from traffic is not loud, and the curtains make the room very dark even in day. The breakfast is excellent: buffet with continental, cooked breakfast, pastries, fruit, juice and good coffee. And the location is ideal, right beside the main bus and train stations, and an easy walk from many restaurants and shops.

Superb location for both walking around the old town and for the main railway station (I was on an Interrail pass). Good to have an early breakfast even on Sunday. Brno was a bit of a gem on this trip!

The room had limited heat control and we found it cold. However, they loaned us a heater. The bartender in the main floor bar had a bad attitude. Because the hotel is near the main train station, there were a few unsavoury characters hanging around later at night.

Room was large and comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful - giving directions, printing items for us, booking taxis. Breakfast variety was very good. Location was excellent.
