Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing springs to mind.
This hotel was excellent, a September stay but all facilities were in full swing, The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. The food in the Symphonia restaurant was varied well presented, well served, and tasted delicious. Choice of two bars, Armstrong Bar next to the lobby was characterful with live music int the evening and great cakes. The Great bar on the roof has incredible views, a great atmosphere and staff. The blues music was an unexpected bonus. Our room was just what we wanted and comfortable. The room service was as much as you wanted but any need was monitored to keep you topped up without having to ask. Location was a out of town but the tram, route 18, free if you are old enough, was only a few minutes walk away. So the car was left in the complimentary car park and we used the tram. You also get to experience more of Prague which is certainly a city worth many a walk.

Lithuania-
The room was clean, spacious and nicely furnished. Bed was huge and comfortable so we had a great sleep. The view through the window on 10th floor was a lovely bonus. There’s a private parking behind the hotel. The staff is very friendly and professional. They gave us info about the public transport, there’s a tram stop close to hotel so getting around the city is very easy. Also breakfast was great, lots of choices and fresh, good quality food.

United KingdomAfter we had dinner and went back to the hotel, we saw a group of people smoking right at the no-smoke sign at the door. I raised that to the reception, because I'm asthmatic and my friend is generally weak and cannot stand the smoke, but the receptionist kind of dismissed us, telling that it's fine and it is allowed outside. I told them again that it was right under the no-smoke sign in the door, they smiled said that they will look into it. I felt dismissed about that concern, therefore I raised it again during check out, and the receptionist was taking notes and said they will take it with the manager. I hope they will, as I think the hotel was really well put together.
I really liked the staffs helpfullness and atteintiveness, the people checking us in and out, and the member who helped us with the luggage were all on top. We got a free upgrade to an executive suite, so our room was much bigger. It was really clean, the windows were dirty but we only stayed a night and we didn't really stayed the room for the view.

I would classify this hotel as fairly high end though the price was incredibly affordable. The breakfast buffet was one the best we have ever seen, anywhere. We also had dinner in their restaurant the day we arrived, to keep it simple. The meal was excellent, and this was four persons’ rating. The location, though not in the old town, was very easy to get to, with two tramway lines running in front of the hotel. It was very easy to get anywhere in Prague from the hotel.

PolandThe breakfast was by far the best I’ve ever experienced in hotels across various European countries – a wide selection of dishes, everything fresh and delicious, and the staff made sure nothing was ever missing. The service at the reception, and throughout the hotel, was absolutely first-class. The rooms are of a very high standard – we honestly regretted staying for only two nights. The location is also great, with a tram line nearby that takes you to the very center of Prague in just a few minutes. We also enjoyed the bar on the 14th floor with its tasty cocktails and beautiful atmosphere. We are truly satisfied with our stay, and next time we are in Prague, the Grand Hotel International will definitely be our first choice.

FinlandReception staff gave a lot of things that I didn't need (water bottle, discount card, map of Prague etc.). That's completely fine if I needed them, but when I very politely declined these gifts (I already have my own water bottle etc.), the receptionist was still pushing these gifts to me, insisting that I take them. I eventually had to take the gifts unwillingly to resolve the case. No means no, it should not be difficult to understand that.
Facilities were great. Breakfast was spectacular. Pretty much always I have to use ear plugs during the night in hotels, but here I didn't need them.
