We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Breakfast and the restaurant itself was great, the food is delicious! Staff - absolutely friendly, helpful and lovely. Our dog was welcome, location is great for skiing / hiking.

Lithuania... as there is a restaurant, a mini-golf and a playground for children just below your windows, it won's be as quiet as you would expect. If you have a bad luck and you get your room just above the restaurant, you won't be able to open your windows during the day, as the smell from kitchen comes directly to your room. Which is not good, as there's no air-conditioning in the room. We were quite surprised that a 3-star hotel is not obliged to provide for amenities to shower. It might be correct. And yes, they do not mention on a webpage that they provide it, but in my experience (and I am really not a high-end customer) even accommodations with no stars provide at least some soap in the shower. As we have been advised by the staff to bring our own, so we had to drive some 10 km back to the nearest open shop to get it. It is also a lesson for us to read the descriptions more carefully. As for the comfortability of the place, the bed in general was ok, but... some people might like a thicker pillow, and there were no additional ones. The toilet seat and some towels are quite worn out. In our friend's room, there was a lamp on a nightstand next to the bed, but no socket to plug it in. On the other hand, maybe it was for the better as he has had a good sleep after all :) And the last remark, some pictures of the hotel on a webpage might give you an impression you will have some nice views over the slopes, but all you can see is trees. Which is also nice, but ...
A hotel is in a quite secluded place, so generally, it is a quiet place, but...
