This was our second stay at Penzion Stará Roudná. We had a lovely time once again, everything is comfortable and clean and the staff are so kind. The proprietress even remembered my gluten free diet and provided a special breakfast for me. We'd love to come back again!

Everything was great.

The owner was very warm and welcoming. The room was very clean, comfortable and has a very nice shower (many hotels in this area only have bathtubs). The bed is as extremely comfortable. A made to order breakfast, orange juice, fruit and a large pot of good coffee. Tremendous!

Everything was great!

Great pension/hotel very near the city center (10 minutes walking), all important sites, and also within walking distance of the train station. The room was very clean, the shower was hot and the breakfast was great! The dinner was absolutely amazing, I think it was the largest steak I've ever seen! What we couldn't eat the owners used to pack us sandwiches for our train journey! :-)

Only small things - nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom, location is a bit of a walk from the center. The hotel was very good overall and I would happily stay again.

Clean, everything looked like it was in good condition, not old and tired. Good Wifi I showed up early just to drop off my bag, but they gave me my room quickly with no problem. Breakfast had a nice mix of food.

We had such a comfortable stay and everything was super super clean. The staff was great and made check in very easy even only with English, and the breakfast was top! Really easy and flat walk from the city center (10-15 mins) or take the tram + 20 bus using excellent Pilzn public transport. We had a key to let ourselves in after hours. This was our favorite stay in all of Czech Republic.

The food in the restaurant was amazing! Very large portions of Czech food, but to be sure they were so extremely delicous. Even if it seems to be impossible eat up.

We had no problems while we were there. I did find the lack of outlets to plug things in while in the room annoying, but that's such a minor thing.

We were happy with our stay here. The rooms were large enough for our party of 8, everything worked, and it was clean. We were able to find parking on the road right in front of the hotel (this may not always be the case, but it seemed like you wouldn't have to walk too far). We were happy with the location, maybe a 10-minute walk into the center of town. It was also a short walk away from a mall-like place where we had dinner that also had grocery stores. When we arrived, we had lunch in the hotel restaurant, and we thought it was really good. The breakfast was really good with a variety of things and a ton of food!

For this price this Hotel was just amazing, great room and nice renovated bathroom! Especially the Breakfast was really good! We could order eggs in all variations. If we come back to Pilsen definitely again!

We met a man from the hotel on Saturday afternoon (I am not sure if he was the owner). He started that he had some fresh croissants for us as we didn´t show up for breakfast and said: Shame on you!/Styďte se! (with a poker face) If this was a joke, it was a horrible joke. Breakfast is voluntary, not compulsory...I would like to remind him. He prepared me a better coffee on Saturday morning at least. The towels should be washed better. I don´t want other people's hair on me.
