Old art-deco hotel in the very center of town. Huge rooms, windows looking out over an old and active church. Leberec was having a festival of sorts in the square just off the hotel - fun.

No air conditioning units, so the rooms were hot to sleep at night. But understandable considering how old the building is.

The dustbin lid was broken, all the time when you wanted to open it, you had to touch it :( (room 301) ... booking.com said checkout was 12:00, the hotel staff called at 10:55 saying it was at 11:00. ... the noisy old wooden floor.

Location, foyer, stairs, the old lift, comfy bed, room quite spacious

We knew that it was an older hotel so didn't have really high expectations of it being perfect, overall loved the room but only small issue was the comfort of the 2 singles pushed together!

Superb location and divine building. The cafe down stairs make a lovely coffee and warm space to watch the world go by.

Limited on site parking. Luckily I got parked in the nearby street. The hotel looks somewhat 'tired' and definitely needs updating.

The staff are very professional and friendly. The receptionist spoke very good English. The hotel is aesthetically beautiful, but in need of a revamp! The beds were very comfortable.

The walls are terribly thin. You can follow your neighbours' conversations almost word for word and if you happen to have a neighbour who watches tv until 1:00 a.m. (as we had), you can forget about sleeping. Even though the neighbours' tv wasn't extraordinary loud. More sound isolation would be good.

    The location is great.

Small TV on wall opposite beds meant it was difficult to watch! Woken early by the sound of very heavy rain drumming on the entrance canopy just below our window.

The twin room was warm, clean and comfortable. Beds very comfortable. Check-in (at 21:20-ish) was fairly quick, though the single receptionist was rather swamped when 20-odd visitors all arrived together to check-in just behind us.

Only minor things - the hotel is right next to the central square, so if there's a concert, you might feel the bass tones - all other sounds are superbly blocked by the double windows. Concerts are rare though and banned after 10pm.

Definitely the best value for money we found. The hotel is a beautifully renovated art nouveau building right at the main square. The staff was very pleasant to us and is available till late. The rooms are newly furnished and beyond the 3star expectation. The breakfast is also a great option - with a wide offering in a for of a buffet in a beautiful restaurant overlooking the city hall. Overall, we truly loved it!

Stuff was very attentive with helping me to store my bicycle over night. My room has been in the 5th floor, with a great view. (I guess, the rooms below are without such a look). Bed was comfortable, too. Although the room was to the market place, it was quiet enough even with opened window.

There's really nothong bad I can say. Everything was great :-)

This place is just amazing! It's an art deco masterpiece built in 1906, with many original features preserved. The reception and lobby, the breakfast room, the lift - all are beautiful. I think I actually took more photos of the hotel than anything else in Liberec! On top of that, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was excellent, and the location was just perfect, right on the main square with a bird's-eye view of the remarkable town hall. The room was also good, with plenty of space and a huge shower recess in the bathroom (not one of those tiny cabinets that you often get in CZ). All in all, I'd recommend Hotel Praha to anyone.

All hotel staff was amazing. BUT please avoid the cafe, which is part of the hotel. Waitress were very rude, unfriendly and they are obviously bored in their jobs. We asked for a breakfast offer, which was written on the board in front of us. The lady told us, any food is served only in the morning (what about to place this info on the board or hide it?) The refused our card payment (of course after we say we wish to pay by card), everything withnout explanation...

Perfect location in the heart of the city! Very close to public transport, swimming pools, everything was close. Despite of location the room was quite and calm, no sounds from outside.

I think, with a category of hotel like that, it would be recommended that the front desk personnel spoke at least another language, either English or Spanish. I had some difficulty in getting information regarding phone calls, etc. We had to struggle to make ourselves understood. It was kind of funny, but if if was an emergency that would take the smiles off our faces for sure. One other thing: it is not possible to call outside the hotel from the room phone. But they are really good, so the balance is really positive.

The staff was very kind and willing to help with everything. Breakfast was included (the rates I paid, at least) and it was very good (quality and variety). The location is wonderful and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. And very close to public transportation as well.
