To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Romaniahotel does have a rather "old feel" to it, pretty far from city center if that is where you are heading (1h30min walking), shower gel was not topped up during my stay (4 days) and only 1-2 room entries were made to check/change towels and other supplies (liquid soap, shower gel, toilet paper, etc)
overall good value, private parking (extra fee) is within Prague standards, breakfast was ok, staff was nice and helpful (had a problem with my access card to the room - got solved in less than 24 hours)

GermanyOn two of the three mornings we stayed, the chambermaids were working and talking really loudly outside of our room, preventing me from sleeping. It was about 8 a.m., so not midday, but pretty early. I understand they're just doing their job but the music they listened to was not exactly quiet and admittedly quite disruptive, in my opinion. Also, breakfast: their range of offers was okay, but it all didn't seem quite hygienic to me since the first thing I saw was a hair in one of the joghurts. But to their defence, they replaced it quickly. Still, we ate there only once. In summary, I think the stay was okayish considering the money we spent.
I liked the seize of our room and the fact that the room itself was pretty clean. Although we didn't use the swimming pool because of a lack of time, it looked really nice, too. The bathroom of our room was pretty small, but clean.

GermanyThere is no Air conditioner in the rooms if the temperature was high it would be difficult luckily during the stay it rained and cool breeze was there.
The property is near by to the public transportation. We will get 109 and 136 buses. Buffet breakfast was good and Reception was friendly. Table fan was provided upon request.

ItalyThere were ants in the room, the bed frame at the foot of the bed was chipped and I scratched my foot on it in the night, the shower head wouldn't stay up and kept sliding down the pole, and my room wasn't cleaned the last day. Reception was shocked about the ants, I only told them about all these problems the last day as I don't like to complain, so I hope they will all be solved.
The receptionists were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to sort out any requests for information we had. They provided us with a ventilator as it was a very hot week and the hotel doesn't have air conditioning. We were on the 4th floor and the room was stifling

HungaryOur bed kinda fell apart, i fixed it and when i told on the reception all they said is "Sorry" like if you would offer another room it would be nice, but also okay if send someone to fix it. At the end i fix it for myself but it was inconvenient.

GermanyWell where do I start? I stayed in 3 star hotels that were better than this one. The rooms are too small, there’s no air conditioner so the small room gets really smelly even with the windows wide open. The beds are made of stone and the toilet doesn’t flush properly. The wellness is too expensively (12€ for 1h of pool) and massages were not available. The breakfast buffet was very poor

SlovakiaI didn't like that the hotel was noisy especially late in the evening and early in the morning. It looks like some guests were having a fun time at the expense of our sleep. We had to pay for the use of the swimming pool per hour which was also weird. We did not have a normal window, but what is worse, we had one over our bed. We have stayed there for 3 days and the breakfast was the same every single day.
I liked that the room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very kind and helpful.

SlovakiaMy room was extremely noisy. I heard people in the next room showering as if they were in my room (thin wall), but the worst was the noise produced by elevator and its doors that closed with loud bang every time.

United KingdomNever used the Wellness facilities as quite expensive for a family (minimum 12 euros). Location is quite a way from the city but local bus service round the corner was prompt (nr 109) every 30 minutes until midnight and beyond to the nearest metro Palmovka. No restaurants nearby so ended up getting a takeaway delivered to the hotel on the first night using Wolt app.
Room was big enough for a family of four with proper beds and large wardrobe/cupboard storage. Thé Wellness area looked nice
