Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It was our second time staying here, like last time everything was perfect. Breakfast is great with delicious sweets, free tea until 8 at night, very nice staff, clean rooms and a calm place near old town. Cant wait to visit there once again :)

There wasn't any hand sanitizer at the buffet and a bunch of familys with noisy sick kids, coughed in their hands and proceeded to touch all the food. Really disgusting. The woman at the front desk was a little grumpy, in fact, she wasn't that serviceminded and was only nice the last day when her boss was around. We couldn't get any directions to which tram number we should take to get from the hotel and in to the city centre. One night we spent over an hour to get back to the hotel again - apparantly the tram we took to get to the city centre in the morning, didn't go back to the hotel again at night.
Breakfeast was really good. For the price it was a good place to stay for a few days. Parking was cheap and was monitored 24/7.

The beds were comfortable, the location was good for us, we wanted to be close to the city center. Breakfast and stuff were very good also. Cost/Benefit very appreciated

My flight was delayed by 3 hours, I was in a very bad mood. But the unexpected good level of the hotel cheered me up so much I did not pay much attention to the minor inconviniances or problems. I think for it's price this hotel is a treasure.
Everything went better than I expected! The room was big and clean, with everything you can expect from a good hotel experience. Bed was soft, breakfast was very good, and I especially liked the automated check in experience because I had to arrive very late because of the delayed flight.

Comfortable and clean room, close to a supermarket and beautiful nature around, a playground and a comfortable stay with a 9-month-old child. The staff is very helpful and professional, restaurant quality and presentation of food for breakfast.

The only thing is that the WiFi was very spotty.

To preface, I was probably the worst guest as I overslept and forgot my stuff. The cleaning lady didn't really clean.
Breakfast was small but it had the essentials. The area is quiet but not pretty. Tram stops and subway are near.

Great location to attend Vystaviste, national gallery and many restaurants are in walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff and a clean room, wifi works fine.
