Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

JapanThere’s an AC in the room but no remote controller, so technically you can’t use it. A couple times, my room was locked and I had to go down to the lobby to ask for an unlock.
The stuff was very friendly, the room was clean. It’s not in the city center but well connected with buses and trams.

United StatesThe pictures look much better then the actual Hotel. Room was much smaller then what appeared in picture. The mattresses were thin and not comfortable. Also very noisy at night you could hear everything in my room and doors slamming all night long in the room I was located in.
Close to the Conference Center.

HungaryOn the downside, the pillows felt a bit worn out and weren't the most comfortable. Additionally, there were some issues with the key card for the door not working on multiple occasions, leading to a few awkward situations. However, the friendly staff were always on hand to promptly address the issue and provide assistance, which helped alleviate any inconvenience. Overall, despite a couple of minor hiccups, the hotel's great location, spacious rooms, and helpful staff make it a solid choice for a stay in the area.
First off, the location is fantastic – with a tram stop right outside the hotel providing easy access to the city center. Plus, having a Lidl store nearby stocked with a wide range of grocery items was incredibly convenient. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a large bed that made for a restful stay. The bathroom was well-designed and generously sized, adding to the overall comfort. The inclusion of a small fridge was a nice touch, allowing for easy storage of drinks and snacks.

United KingdomHotel is right on the train line and trams going through the night, it’s manageable with the window shut but wouldn’t recommend for light sleepers. When we arrived there is hidden city tax to pay which was a bit of a shock but came to about 12 euros so not a huge issue. Asked for twin bed but they still where pushed together meaning we had to separate ourselves, not a large haste.
Ideal distance from the city, walkable and with direct tram routes. Lidl within 2 min walk for snack top up. Shower had great temperature and pressure with all necessary body wash/hair and hand soap, nice toilet paper and tissues provided as well as feminine product bin bags. Towels provided. Also is right next to a cool fort, defo worth an explore.

United StatesThis was definitely a no frills hotel - the bathroom was small & the shower was quite compact. It was functional but might be cramped for someone tall.
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I appreciated how kind they were in all of our interactions! This hotel was a great budget option & I was happy to have a place to relax in at the end of the day!

Hungarybut that is why the noise of the tram was heard at night.
The room and bathroom were nice and clean. On the ground floor there is a very cozy Spanish restaurant with a la carte meals. The receptionists were very nice, especially the one who solved my problem regarding I left a gift in the room after check-out and he take it back to me. There is a tram stop near the hotel, ideal for reaching the center of the old town.

Czech Republicparking is an issue - you have to find a free spot on the street in the neighborhood. it's hard and expensive pillows are too hard for me - one has to get used to it the bath doesn't have a curtain and therefore you end up splashing water around and the wooden door and is showing water damage from inconsiderate guests.
excellent location, nice new room incredible value for the money I usually pay there spacious bathroom and a hairdryer!!!!

Polandthe mattress was soo large, probably because of this, instead of one large special mattress sheet, there were two sheets that constantly folded. the pillows were also too big and hard (I prefer small and soft) there wasn't plug in the bathroom
The location is good - just near the tram stop. We've got the number on corner so were really pleased with the view. The room was pretty big and the bathroom was clean. In apparatus we had dryer, electric kettle, coffee and tea. Nearby is beautiful a historic fort Vyšehrad.
