Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThere are two tramlines outside the hotel. I didn't find them very loud on the second floor, but they do make the floor vibrate noticably when they go past. It didn't bother me, but something other travellors might want to be aware of. Breakfast was a little basic, but functional. The rooms really should come with a fan to help guests cope with warm weather. My shower was leaking onto the floor throughout my stay. Reception was told twice, and were unable to resolve the issue. Given some of the vissible damage, it looked like the leak had been going on for a long time.
Right next to the central station, and within walking distance of most of the major attractions. Hotel itself is a beautiful old building with a grand staircase public starcase, and lift. Has a creative approach to the concept of double glazing. I picked the hotel because I had stayed there 20 years earlier, and wanted to see what had changed. I'd be happy to stay again if I visited Prague a thrid time.

Czech RepublicThe building is atmospheric and rather charming - my room had a cute little balcony facing into the shaded court yard, a clean and serviceable bathroom with a good shower and a comfortable bed. Location is very convenient for weary travelers, just a few hundred metres from the train station. It's also well situated for sight seeing. I arrived in the evening, then took a very pleasant stroll through the old square (where there was a fantastic beer festival), across the Charles Bridge and up to the castle. The city is beautiful, especially on a warm spring evening. Good breakfast too. Overall a memorable stay - not bad for a solitary work trip! will come again, next time for more relaxation, more beer and less work

United KingdomFor after hours check-in, the staff should make provision of where the room is roughly, as the hotel has two parts. Also, in preregister form prior to arrival, would be good to include wifi passcode, as no one is at reception after 9pm, and easyjet from uk comes at 9.30pm.
Good location, self check-in kiosk

Spain1) The pillows are not comfortable. 2) The position of the shower is not the best, because when we took a shower, the water fell down outside the bathtub, so to avoid it, we had to find a position to avoid it. 3) the hight of the bathtub is too high for get out, over all for elderly people. 4) At breakfast, no much variety of fruit, just bananas and apples. We would like to get some oranges for example.
1) The staff is very kind. The guy of night shifts (over 22:00hr) was so patience, kind. The staff of the restaurant always ready to help, to move dishes away, to keep the facilities always clean.

GreeceI did not like that reception stuff seems to do 12h shifts. The person who would greet me at 9am was still there at 21:00. Coming from Horeca and hotels myself, this is something it really bothered me. Of course, i dont know the work arrangements of each employer, although, 12 hour shifts are never ever ideal, and mostly exhaustive.
The hotel is okay. Very good location you can go to the center on foot or take trams that pass by. Breakfast is a typical hotel breakfast. The room was okay and clean. Reception was friendly.

I really liked the building hosting the hotel, the room was simple but wide and clean. I appreciated very much the buffet breakfast, rich and tasteful! The hotel is located in a very central position. You can visit the city centre fully on foot from there.. I'd definitely recommend the hotel! I had a wonderful stay (21 -24 march 2024)

IrelandThe room was beside the staircase and more of a corridor than a room? Bed against wall between entrance door and bathroom with a long stretch between. Pillow was a sort of folded up duvet contraption and mattress wasn't comfy. It was noisy because of people coming and going and from traffic outside.
Staff very friendly! Amazing supply of breakfast foods - cereals, breads, desserts, meats, cheeses, fruit and veg. Location quite central and I enjoyed discovering things as I walked around the area! 3 min walk from train station.

PolandThe breakfast could've been better. At first the receptionist seemed annoyed by my presence (during check-in). Very thin walls, you can hear everything going on in the other room. Also wooden windows don't exactly block the noise from the outside. A bottle of water in the room wouldn't hurt.
The location is great, so close to the train station as well as to the Old Town. The room was clean and cozy. There was comfy bed, clean sheets and towels. The bathroom was clean. The no-smoking policy works so there is no cigarette stench. The staff was overall nice. Amazing wifi.

CanadaWe did not find receptionist at night, as we arrived late, so electronic checkin didn't work. Therefore, we waited 5 hours in front of Reception area. However, next day manager accepted our complaint and he gave a next day free night to us. He assured us that they will improve this shortcoming.
very good location, few minutes away from central railway station

AlbaniaThe front desk guy when we checked in was kind of rude and prejudging us from our country of origin. The room had only ceiling windows from which we couldn't really tell what the weather was like, and it wasn't getting refreshed. The bathroom smelled a little.
The location was super, could connect to all tram lines. The beds were very comfy, super ok for a family with two kids.
