Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

People went in and out the room the whole night, even till 3am. They were talking loud, making noise and leaving the lights on all the time. That was very annoying, but it is what it is.
I was surprised by the cleanliness of the beds and the rooms. Everything was very clean and the facilities were fine.

There is a very small number of power units in the rooms, and they are far away from beds - not convenient to charge stuff.
The llocation is nice: close to the city center abd right next to Galluswarte S-Bahn. Interestinbly, go the contrary to what's stated in their terms and conditions, they didn't charge me extra for bed sheets.

They don’t assign you a bed number. You should go to your room and pick any bed that is not occupied. This is a really bad idea because if you are checking in when it's dark, you must shine a flashlight on beds that may already have people sleeping in them. After my first night, one of my roommates checked out, but no one cleaned his bed.
The location is really good, just one tram ride from Central Station or one S-Bahn ride to the city center. The 24/7 reception was a necessity; I checked in after midnight with zero problems. There were two toilets in the room, one of which also included a bath. Additionally, they provided free towels, which was really nice.

The douche facility was very dirty. Everywhere hair on the edge of the cabin. From a long time. !!!!!@@@@!!!!!!! VERY BAD!!!!!!!

There was only one person to hand over the keys and check-in, the hostel was full and one person at night cannot do everything. They could hire more staff. Then two people arrived at the hoatal at dawn and there was a problem regarding the choice of bed, it would be good to make it clear: a: that the bed can be chosen. or b: that the bed number is written on the card. (although I understand why there was only one person to carry out the entire process) however, there may be clients who do not understand that.
I liked the attention of the staff, good place to spend the night. Excellent quality-price reference, highly recommended.

The room was a bit dusty and the ambience in general was somewhat drab.
The central position, the soaps in the room's bathroom, and the fact that both bedsheets and towels were included in the price.

Upon arrival we could not get into the car park before checking in, then the room key didn’t work, had to go back and forth to reception. The reception area is quite intimidating late at night.

- Despite having paid all expenses in advance, I was unexpectedly requested to pay an additional 20 euros at the reception for a city tax, without being provided with any invoice or explanation. - Upon check-in, a guest arrived with luggage emitting a strong and unpleasant odor.

The bathroom was not well kept. More work needs to be done. Buy klor and clean out the brown fungus on the walls. Toilet was ok but more needs to be done.
The size of the room, free WiFi, TV with various channels including Disney channel, room that faced away from the noisy street(we had a restful time) and best of all the very friendly and helpful staff. I would give the staff a 5 Star rating 👍
