There was a bit of a strange smell in the room, that I tried to get rid of by keeping the windows open. The biggest issue would be the walls. I had some drunken men in the room next door who kept speaking quite loud. I asked them once to quiet down, but even if they did reduce the volume a bit, the walls are so thin I could hear everything.

Easy to reach the city centre, compact rooms and relatively clean. I only did an after hours check-in and on Sunday all the check-out was self-managed so didn't have any interaction with the staff.

In my case, it was quiet. If it was busy, I can imagine that the sounds from others would be audible in the room, and could possibly affect sleep, so best to take earplugs in case of need.

The location was perfect for attending the Nuremberg Exhibition Center and also for the S-Bahn. The room was perfect for my needs, namely, somewhere nearby, clean, a warm place to sleep, at a reasonable price considering the easy access to the Exhibition Center. Clean room, consisting of two single beds, two sinks, a table and chair, a fridge which was unplugged. Excellent bedding, duvet, pillow etc. and also towels and disposable slippers provided. The shared shower room/toilet was immediately next door and all sounds would be easily audible. In my case, it was quiet, and I also checked-out early in the morning. There is a shared living/tv room area, shared kitchen, shared balcony, shared hallway.

The location was a bit far from city center. Also it is said that we have separate bathrooms, but it wasn't.

The hostel was very noisy at night. The ad says there's parking, but the place only has about 5/6 spots, so if they're full there's nowhere to park because it is a residential area.

The room was ok, as expected. The cleanliness of the room and common areas was very good. Close to the metro station that gives access to the city center.

I wish every room had its own bathroom, but the shared bathroom was mentioned in the amenities at the time of booking so it can't really be a real complaint.

Good value for money. The room has a fridge, which proved useful as I had some medicine that needed to be kept in a fridge.

- The reception is not regularly working. They start at 11 AM for 8 hours or something. Not to mention, the reception is not there at all on weekends, I don't know how people check in during weekends themselves! - There is no daily cleaning service, don't expect so much. But it was just fine for me as I had only 2 nights. - The kitchen is very old & the cooking tools has to be developed.

- The location is so good, just beside the U-bahn. - The single room is just the BEST value for money out there. - I had an early check in which is appreciated.

Parking was a worry. Only 5 spaces for Hostel, all taken. There is a Parking Platz nearby but says only for those with Apartment passes. I risked it overnight as some other cars were not displaying one but I arrived late & made sure I left early before 08:00. There's a football stadion nearby & there was a match on (Friday night) so lots of traffic & police but once it calmed down, it was quiet. Not suitable for disabled.

Simple keyless entry & was glad my room was on the ground floor. There are several. Good sized room, clean, well equipped with kettle & (noisy) fridge. Shared kitchen & bathroom was nearby. Coffee & Cold drinks/beer machine in lobby. Bring your own toiletries. €35 for 1 bed in private room was a fabulous deal. Main lobby had terrace access for smokers. Only a few kilometers from Centre.

Felt weird not having any staff. It’s like lively like any other hostel I’ve been to. Our neighbour in the next room was awfully loud with their phone calls and really late at night too, people smoked on the balconies with the doors open so the whole place had a lingering smell. The bed moved and squeaked with every movement but was comfortable.

Easy enough to get to from the U-Bahn. Easy to get the key from the lock.

There was a tower fan that really helped during the heat wave. The location of the hostel is great! And it feels very safe even when it’s dark out. The staff was nice, and it was easy to check in and out.

the bathroom was absolutely disgusting! it was fine when they had just cleaned it but the next morning it was horrible! and its shared between so many people too! and there was also a lot of echo from the hallway and outside which was a little annoying

The furnishing is a bit old and could use some modern touches (wardrobes had a funny smell, maybe it was from insecticide or something else, but definitely triggered some allergies in our group.) Also, there was only 1 chair in a twin room. Sockets were fine, though we would have liked to be able to turn on reading lamp AND charge phones near the bed at the same time. Some soap dispenser near the washbasin would be really practical.

Very kind staff, really clean bathrooms, the metro station is 5 minutes away, neighbourhood is pretty quiet and nice, with lots of green areas. Other guests were civil and you can enjoy a relative privacy despite shared bathrooms (women's showers are separate and can be locked). Rooms have washbasin in the room, which is useful, and a fridge. To the nearest supermarket it's a 5-minute walk.

We were lucky to have quiet neighbours so the stay was comfortable. All the facilities are in decent condition too. But the best thing about the place is the self-check-in. We arrived at 9 pm and that wasn't a problem at all, very convenient!
