We were at the additional property - the room was nice, but very far away from parking.

The cave bar was really nice, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff was great.

Food was acceptable but not brilliant

Convenient stop over point - staff were friendly - clean hotel although our rooms were the other side of the road, not in the main hotel - town was nice for a wonder around in the evening

Room was in an annex around the corner, in a block of flats (the main hotel is far more atmospheric), limited parking

Nice location in the centre, friendly staff

As per the norm in Europe, the room had no kettle. However, I have stayed @ a few locations that have had a communial kitchenette that supplied hot water. As the hotel itself was fully booked I was taken across to the guest house, which in itself was lovely. However, there is no receptionist and although there are tables & chairs, no kettle & cups. Thus, if I wanted a cup of tea or coffee, I would have to go across the road.

The breakfasts were exceptionally good - very good value for one's money, and included in the price. Upon checking the bill break-down, breakfast was a mere €5. The staff were courteous & helpful. I was helped across to the guesthouse, across the road. The location was excellent, within walking distance to the bus station. (& there is a road that runs behind the hotel's beer garden that is smooth, which is perhaps a tad bit longer to walk around, but certainly makes wheeling a suitcase along much easier.) The underground cellar restaurant was a treat. Pfullendorf, in itself, was much larger than what I was expecting.

Parking was awful. Room was very nice, but there was a $75 "cleaning fee" in the fine print that was added to the price.
