Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Blanket had musty or sweat smell
Great hotel with excellent views. The only hotel with eggs cooked on order in our travel thus far. Owner was very accommodating on having slightly early breakfast

Very noisy Cannot air the room because all restaurant smell comes in Breakfast poor and should be much more varied Coffee is terrible and they do not serve milk at all

Our family of 6 needed two rooms (not a problem), but one of the rooms smelled like cigarette smoke.
Beautiful little hotel, comfortable rooms for a very reasonable rate. Nice little balconies. Delicious breakfast included! Helpful and friendly staff. We didn’t arrive in time for dinner but the menu looked good.

No option to get coffee between the time breakfast closes at 9:30 and check-out at 11:00 due to unmaintained coffee machine in the room. There was electric kettle in the room but without instant coffee that wasn't much of a help.
We only stayed for one night but were pleasantly surprised by the comfort level of the accommodation. Spacious room, big comfortable bed, balcony, fridge, electric kette and coffee machine (that unfortunately didn't work - needed descaling). Check-out option till 11 am was great. Even though we were offered custom time for breakfast beforehand as we were hoping to have breakfast closer to the later check-out time, that wasn't possible in the end but we were at least allowed to take the breakfast to our room and finish it after the dining room closed. We arrived on Thursday when the whole place was closed and we appreciated that the staff was available on whatsapp.

We would have appreciated a clear communication that the restaurant was closed on Thursdays as this was the only day we stayed.
Great location with large car park and views of surrounding countryside. Comfortable room with balcony, armchairs and modern bathroom. Extensive breakfast choices. Friendly staff.

The staff is very nice. Sufficient variety of food for breakfast. There is a restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. The environment and foods there are good. The location of the hotel is close to Neuschwanstein Castle.

Breakfast was lovely, restaurant on property for evening dining was superb - lovely German food. Room was exceptionally clean and the children liked have their own adjacent room. Parking was easy. View from the hotel is lovely and the lovely private balcony.

Bar and restaurant closed at 9pm on a Saturday?! And the place is pretty far from anything else if you don't want to take the car and go for a drink.
Rooms are beautiful and comfortable, bathroom a little on the small side for 3 people, but doable.

We had the perfect stay. Close to the castle, big and comfortable family room. Our kids were very enthusiastic about the family room. It was more like an appartement with 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Breakfast was really good. Staff super friendly. Clean and a beautiful view. I would highly recommend this stay..

The service at the adjoining restaurant was appalling, but this is nothing to do with the hotel.
Spotlessly clean, and very well appointed. The staff / owner are lovely. The room was spacious and very well equipped. The outside space was a bonus. We were initially concerned that there might be traffic noise, but heard nothing. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection, which was all very tasty.

Breakfast is great, lot of choices, we had a BIG breakfast. The window view is great. The house locates along side of the street, no higher building to hide the sky view. So we can have a great sunset in the balcony of the room. The apartment is spacious and suitable for group travelers. Lastly, it closes to the New Swan Castle and several lakes nearby.
