My room was just next to the street, if I had known earlier, I would request for another room. It was so noisy and we couldn't leave the windows open during sleeping at all.

The breakfast was very nice especially the egg menu... unbeatable!

Lovely breakfast room, great communal balcony - you can sit there in the evenings and wind down, buy a snack (they do great pizzas and Flammkuchen) and have a couple of drinks, very relaxing.

We loved everything about our stay...room was very good with a comfortable bed and a great clean bathroom with a very good shower. The view from our balcony was beautiful, breakfast was great...everything was perfect! Location was excellent great proximity to Konigssee however we did have a car!

The shower can't contain the water properly. It leaks a bit outside and each time you need to swap it.

The staff was amazing, great location very close to the center and not crowded location at the same time. Free and available parking.

No coffee/tea machine in the room Bathroom : nice design but not 100% convenient (small bathtub, no possibility to change the height of the shower)

The housekeepers were in a big hurry for us to leave before 11:00 check out time. They used their key to barge into the room at 10:50 when I was still in the bathroom.

The views and scenery surrounding the hotel are beautiful! The rooms are large, super clean, and have a nice balcony overlooking the village. The breakfast was fabulous!!

The only downfall is that it is a bit of a trip from Berchtesgaden. It does require that you plan to catch the last bus out of Berchtesgaden which leaves around 6:15 - or hire a taxi (@25 euro). But all in all, if I am ever back in this region, I will stay with these amazing folks!

The staff here was exceptional, so very helpful to an English-only speaker. They helped me navigate the excursions I wanted to take using simply the bus and train schedules and saved me a lot of money by avoiding the expense of web-advised "guided tours." The room was exceptional, with a balcony that overlooked the "Eagles Nest" and Wetzmann mountains. The house's hospitality was superb, with the best breakfasts anywhere on our 3-week Germany/Austria journey. Breakfasts were excellent,; they even made us some "American" bacon & eggs, making my son feel right at home. If I am ever back in this region, I will stay with these fantastic folks!

1 restaurant within walking distance for evening meal. Whilst it was delicious and we ate there 3 evenings in a row, no other restaurant open nearby within safe walking distance at night . But that was ok, as the nearby restaurant was so good.

Amazing breakfast, lots of choices and tasted delicious. Unlimited amount of food. Warm, spacious and clean rooms. Good power shower. Option to have a free drink daily from the bar if opted to not have the room cleaned. Lovely restaurant within walking distance. Lots of trails nearby.

Mattresses were uncomfortable.

They went above and beyond to make our anniversary evening a success. They assisted in booking dinner at a rooftop restaurant and it was decorated beautifully for us. Breakfast also great.

Very clean, beautiful room with an amazing view! We really enjoyed our stay here. They made us feel so welcome. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and super helpful! The breakfast was a big spread with many options and was very delicious. If we ever are back in the area we definitely would love to stay here again.
