My room was at the main street immediately next to the main entrance. People standing outside talking kept me awake. The early morning truck kept engine running while delivering on noisy trolleys the supplies for the hotel which woke me up way before my alarm. This was very much disturbing.

The value for money ratio is low. The room was minuscule and no noise insulation. I frequently woke up late at night with guests coming in, and super early in the morning as 1st guests started to leave. Breakfast only starts at 7h00, and included very little fresh fruit (every day apples & kiwis, and one morning a fruit salad with above, plus some orange). The bread, cheese and cold meat selection was very cost-effective products which I would not eat otherwise. Also decentralized location, not easy access to Dusseldorf downtown / Messe, etc (approx 1h by public transport).

The staff were absolutely lovely, delightful and friendly. Every staff member was absolutely delightful, and all of them had such a positive, how-can-I-make-your-day-better attitude. From this perspective, top hotels can send their staff over for training. Although the rooms are very small, it was squeaking clean with a comfy bed, albeit everything being very basic.

Payment for room's bar only by cash so you have to be prepared on it.

The hotel is really nice, comfortable in quiet area in suburbs . Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfasts could be more variety but was tasty and fresh. Anyway I can recommend this hotel

No complaints - the hotel is not particularly modern but it is not a criticism

Extremely engaging and friendly staff. Location was perfect for the centre of Ratingen.

No A/C which could be a problem during hottest days. We lucked out.

Staff and breakfast were fantastic. Very accommodating. Well located in Ratingen which is a wonderful town to visit. My wife had plenty to do while I was working. Great restaurants in walking distance. City tram outside front door. Free parking at hotel.

Very clean rooms! Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Located very close to public transit for easy connection to Dusseldorf. We loved the "apartments" (kitchenette).

Wish that I could have spent more time in Duesseldorf/Ratingen, had to fly out the next morning to return to the USA.

Great breakfast buffet available early morning! Really wonderful lady at the reception. Nice neighborhood pub/restaurant right around the corner - loved the Schnitzel there!

Great location in the city center. Tram and bus stops are right next to the hotel building. Staff is very nice and speaks English (a little bit). Free parking slots for visitors. *** Our little daughter got a small gift - teddy bear. Thank you so much!

Nothing to complain about, the hotel was what one would expect for the category.

Clean & comfortable hotel, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Location is ideal for wandering around the town centre. The room was clean, though a little austere - a few pictures on the wall would have brightened the room up a bit. Would stay here again.

Some of the rooms could be noisy by the metro train andcint the weekends you could hear the people on the street hanging at the hotel front door.

The staff was very kind and helpfull they give you a warm family feeling, also the breakfast was good.

The bed was a little too hard. TV...no English speaking channels except news.

Good access to public transport and shopping. We had to use the locals to translate the timetables for bus or train though.
