Everything looks really dated and used. The bed was actually two beds and two mattresses which wasn't very convenient. The door to the hallway is not noise isolated at all so we got woken up at 8am and couldn't get back to sleep until everybody else on our floor had departed... I guess it's ok if you want to get up early but I would not recommend it at all if you want to sleep late.

Really friendly owner and convenient location.

Rooms were cozy, clean and spacious, breakfast is typical to Germany. Hotel is close to the train station and easy to get to the city centre, administrators are super friendly and helpful, the cost of hotel was very reasonable for its location. I will recommend this hotel to other collegues and definetely will choose this hotel next time too.

The main inner ring road is close by so it's not dead quiet. However, solid windows keep out most of the noise and, overnight, there's no traffic.

Clean, safe, spacious, modern bathroom, firm bed, very friendly & helpful staff, good breakfast. Location is an easy five minute walk to the main station and a pleasant 10-minute stroll to the city centre.

The bathroom was dirty. There was towels on the ground, soap residue on the sink countertop. Even my blanket on my bed had a few marks on it. There was a misunderstanding with the cleaning lady. She knocked and I said not now (because I was changing and starting to pack up and leave) and she walks in anyways. I rushed to put my clothes back on and find out she doesn't speak English. I told her I couldn't understand her, as she couldn't understand me and she rolls her eyes and left. Was an awkward situation.

The parking was very nice. The front desk personnel were all very friendly and helpful. The location was also a very good spot.

From the photo, it didn't give an impression of how busy an area the property was in, and trying to get into car park on such a very busy corner was not easy. The two streets property was on were both extremely busy. There were restaurants nearby, but only useful if you were into kebabs or pizza.

Overall the property was good, the person on duty was extremely friendly especially towards my young grandson. The breakfast was very good and the room was comfortable and beds comfy. Also the property was clean.

Excellent hotel in a great location. A five minute walk from the Bahn Hof or if driving, parking right next to the hotel. Another 10 minute walk and you are in the center of the walk platz with shopping, restaurants, and café’s. The hotel is located in a beautiful old building but does have an elevator if needed. The room was nice and clean with a small balcony to sit outside if desired. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My family and I would definitely stay here again!

The shower was pretty tight - but that's only a minor issue. Otherwise I couldn't fault the Landhaus. It isn't a big impersonal chain hotel - it's like going to stay with relatives.

The sheets are simply revolting … some sort of acrylic fabric that has pilled badly. I could not sleep on them., so they supplied towels to cover them. The breakfast is not good. No fruit to have with cereal if a person is dairy free. No bread, no plain croissants, only chocolate pastries. The lighting in this room is very bad and not helped by ‘trendy’ black lightshades. My camera showed ‘low light’ when I tried to take a photo. I would not choose to walk barefoot on the carpet. There is not 24/7 reception. No air con and far too noisy to open a window at night. The shower is tiny and the shower curtain clings to you. How many other bodies has it clung to?

The wifi is very good. Location reasonably close to the train station, but is an uphill walk… not the best with luggage. The owners seem pleasant people. There is a very good Japanese restaurant two blocks along the road.

Very comfortable, cosy hotel. It was more like staying in a large town house than a hotel. Lovely staff. Characterful building with large rooms, high ceilings and big windows. The bathroom was huge and had a bathtub! And they brought us an iron and ironing board which other hotels have refused due to health and safety. ..

It's an older style building and could benefit from a refurbishment.

This is a small older style hotel with friendly helpful staff. It has a small private parking area right next to the hotel which was very convenient. It is also only a 5-10 minute walk to the station from where you can catch a train to Frankfurt airport so it's a good alternative to staying in Frankfurt. The breakfast costs extra but it's very good value especially for a small hotel. The hotel is close to shops and a variety of restaurants and cafes.

If you remember you are booking 2 start this is nothing to dislike.

The guys running the Landershaus are fantastic, the hotel itself is a 2 star but by 2 star standards is great. The location is fantastic for the City Centre but has a nice Kebab shop with 15 metres for a quick snack or a fantasic Portugese restaurant with 5 mins in one direction and a fantastic Tapas bar called Sherry and Port in the other direction. A nice coffee shop opposite with nice pastries and also a corner shop with 30 metres. This venue is all about location. Breakfast is very well laid out and by German standards is good. Cleanliness is high and beds are comfortable. 15 mins walk to the City Centre with shops and restaurants in abundance
