The Hotel was OK, I think it should be rated as 3 star not 4

The location of the hotel is good, close by to the river and within a short walk to Spittlemarkt underground. Just round the corner there is The World of Pizza. Great pizza and the beer and wine is less than half you'll pay in other places.

The room furniture is very basic; the beds are narrow and mattresses are cheap, thin and not truly comfortable.

Hotel is clean and tidy; personnel is very friendly and breakfast is great value for money. Location of hotel with respect to public transportation and sights is also very good.

we arrived late (12 a.m.) air conditioning was on, the room was fresh, ok in summer but it was too (much!) fresh!for the rest nothing to complain.

Big and comfortable bedroom, nice private bathroom. the hotel is central, you can walk to the city centre but you can also move easily with the underground, station is just 3 minutes walking. I would chose it again

The cash machine outside the hotel had an exchange rate of almost one euro to one pound. Do not use it. There is a bank ATM a couple of streets away.

Very handy for the underground which then connects you to everywhere.

I didn’t love the location as I prefer to be in the busy part of town.

No soap bars, only liquid soap/shampoo dispensers. Tea and coffee bags for the kettle are only refilled on demand at the reception, not by default. There are a bit cheaper options for breakfast at the cafes nearby.

Clean room, kettle for tea and and coffee, comfy bed. Bathroom with window, hair dryer. Towels changed daily. Available late check-out. Good staff and management. Near the main attractions in the eastern part of the city, 2-3 minutes walk to nearest subway station. Near good cafes and restaurants and a supermarket.

It's probably personal taste, but the matras is a bit too soft and the desk in the room might have been a bit larger to allow some work on a laptop with workingpapers next to it.

Good location of hotel, on walking distance from main tourist sites in Berlin-Mitte. Well connected with Spittelmarkt underground and follow-on bus connection to Tegel airport. Area around the hotel is modernised with replacement of old "plattenbau" with new appartments. Nice sized and quite room with separate bathroom. Room has well working airconditioning, wifi connection and TV. Everything was kept clean and well maintained. The optional breakfast possibility is rich in choice for every visitor, it is probably good to state that lunch or dinner is not offered, but can be obtained from a number of restaurents in the direct vicinity.

There is no traffic noise from outside, except the noise from the hotel’s delivery truck, every morning at 7 a.m. but it’s not too much disturbing if the windows are closed.

Hotel is in the center of the city, in the quiet area, 100m (or less) from the subway station Spittelmarkt Platz, well connected with Shonefield airport (S Bahn and 3 metro stops from Alexander Platz). New Green str, in which the hotel is, goes right on a pedestrian bridge across the Spree river to the most southern part of Museum Island. Every sites of the interest for a tourists are reachable by the foot. Hotel’s room was not very spacious but it was comfortable enough and well maintained.

The hotel has a very good rate on booking.com and one of the reasons for which we chose it, but unfortunately the room we had didn't match the overall rating of the hotel. We had a standard twin room (no 410) booked with a considerable discount and paid in advance so I guess that’s why we didn't get one of their best rooms. The room really needs some painting as the first thing you see when entering is a distinct foot print on the wall. Carpets are a bit old. So was the hairdryer, but it worked. There is dust and rust or dirt on the towel radiator, which wouldn't normally bother that much if there was no other place to put the towels. The cleaning service was otherwise ok. The air conditioning didn't work. Only one or two English channels on TV. Pillows were not great. Check-in is at 2 pm; we tried to check-in a couple of hours earlier, but the room didn’t seem ready. When we came back after 2 pm, the room still didn’t appear ready but it proved that it was not marked as cleaned-up, it was in fact ready. Kettle in the room, but we were unlucky and didn't get the coffee refilled. Toiletries are all in one (one liquid as hand soap, shower gel and shampoo).

Quiet hotel, in a quiet area, a good night's sleep. There is a very good Spanish restaurant right across the street, plus a café to have coffee in the mornings. Otherwise, not much to do around. Close to metro but also close on foot to other attractions. A complimentary bottle of sparkling water each day was a nice touch. Wifi was good. The staff was professional and speaks English.

The location in Berlin was great, we didn’t rent a car, Sbahn was around the corner. Alexander platz was within walking distance. The staff helped with everything you needed, even setup the taxi to take us to the airport. Breakfast was good but things ran out fast and wasn’t restocked. But it tasted good! Pillows could be better and a fridge in the room would have added some confort. Other than that - a perfect place to stay for a weekend.

The hotel is perfectly located in a nice cosy quiet neighbourhood with all Berlin's attractions easily reachable by foot. The room was clean and rather spacious, bathroom had everything you need, the only thing that was missing was the fridge, but we managed. Right across the street from the hotel there is a great Spanish restaurant and Lidl supermarket is only a 10 min brisk walk away. It was advertised as sound proof room but I was woken every morning by the house keeping. The black out curtains didn't cover all the windows so sunlight came in. There was water in my room but it didn't specify that it was at a cost so I found that out on check out. It advertised that it had bathroom products but it was just an all in one soap/shampoo/conditioner. The bed was OK but the pillow was terrible and on again there was advertised a pillow menu but couldn't find it in my room.

Breakfast is a little bit too expensive. As soon as you exit the hotel, there is a cafe which does breakfast - 3€ more than the hotel one, but quality of the food is different.

The hotel itself is very clean, so is lobby and the room we stayed in, the condition of it was outstanding for the amount of money we paid. Bathroom was always spotless either after everyday clean, fresh towers etc. Staff is helpful and speak English. Location is very convenient - you either walk to Alexanderplaz, which is about 15-20 minutes, or take a subway which is 3 minutes away from the hotel. Right in front there is a Spanish restaurant , with outstanding menu and prices. If you go there for a meal, I strongly recommend to have a pint of their weiss beer. One if the best I've ever had. The room we had did not look like the pictures at all. It was very small, and we were facing the parking and the other building, so very not fancy. There were also no toiletries given, which was initially announced in the description. The worst part was the fire alarm ringing at 4.45am in the morning. We had to leave our room, and stay outside in the cold for 15min before being able to access the room again. I understand those things can happen and it is not in the staff controls but no apologises were given or informations about it after at check-out. Very disappointed.

The bunette from the afternoon happens to be extreme unfriendly. She just mess up rooms, send my colleagues to the wrong room and was extremely unfriendly. The locations is in a almost dead zone, particularly at night there was only one Spanish restaurant in the block and nothing else. You better have dinner early, otherwise you run out of options. The room was smaller than the one prmoted in booking. You better put the “not disturb” paper on the door, otherwise the maid will interrupt your room many times without knocking. The breakfast is ridiculous expensive, just have some breakfast in the corner’s bakery. Also, The toilet paper is the cheapest. I cannot recommend the place, it is not worth its value.

Bar isn’t really a bar. Reception area under renovation atm so quite confusing to find you’re way in and out. Be wary of extra charges for water, phone calls etc.

Close to u Bahn station for getting around. Close to resuraurants etc. Clean room and good value for money

For a double room, would have been better to actually have a double bed rather than two singles not even joint together.

Great location, right next to the U bahn and only a short walk to Alexanderplatz, checkpoint charlie and museum island.

Steep price to borrow a travel adapter. You do have to leave a deposit of 20 -50 euros to use the travel adapter depending on which one you borrow which is quite steep! Especially when you don’t normally use Euros because that’s euros tied away at the hotel that you could be spending

It is a good hotel with friendly staff. an excellent service generally.

Hop on hop off tour left us isolated and had to get an expensive taxi ride back to hotel

Location was good for walking to the markets and tower. The streets were dark when walking home at night. Taxi fares into city were reasonable and readily available

I always stay here - central to where I need to be for meetings, working wi-fi and a helpful staff (especially last time when i needed a charger for my iPhone)

Terrible WiFi connection from the second building No spare pillow available if wanted

Located less than 5 minute away from the nearest underground station (Spittelmarkt) 15 minute walk away from Checkpoint Charlie, and 20 mins towards the city centre Very friendly, and helpful staff Room equipped with TV (although English Channels minimal), kettle and nice double bed

The bed was not the best one what we ever had: the mattress was too tender, mellow, - like a piece of big sponge.

The hotel is close to the Alexander platz, there is a good table in the room, enough place for the laptop and luggage. Everithing worked well.

The mattress (from my bed) is really old and deformed - I'd sink when sleeping. They should get newer and more comfortable ones.

A lot of road construction around the Hotel & in Berlin but not the fault of the Hotel WiFi slow & almost non existent.

Excellent Breakfast Parking on Premises for 20 Euro per day, which was excellent. Elevator a PLUS. Short Cab Ride to the Christmas Market area where we picked up the Hop on Hop off Bus. Potsdam shopping & Markets fantastic. Berlin is an exciting city & we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Probably the most comfortable hotel I was in. Even as rooms are not so big (but also not so small), they are very clean and comfy ;) Parking requires reservation and is little pricy but worth it - you can leave whenever you want and fixed spot will always wait for you. Places are also big enough for bigger cars.

The fact they charge 20€ per adapter when they cost no more than 2€ to buy! Very inconvenient and not very helpful to international visitors.

The hotel wifi could not support whatsapp calls which is strange but it supports Skype. The hotel would also do better by having a gym in house or nearby that they can partner with. Can they also have a small area for meeting guests?

There is enough variety of food to go round to everyone!
