It was noisy in the early morning as you can hear animal from the zoo. It is too hot in summer as they didn't provide enough fan.

Close to main railway station in Karlsruhe, good for traveler that need to catch up their train early in the morning.

It was really hot in the room. Two little fans were provided and they helped, but it was hard to sleep because it was so hot. Opening the windows helped a bit but there were lots of birds and geese that were noisy all night. I don't know if I could have slept here in the summer if the nights don't cool down. The beds were comfortable.

Check in and out was very efficient. We didn't stay long enough to use the kitchen. It was clean and the staff was friendly.

    1) TV had no English channels 2) Curtains transparent and one damaged 3) Bed was uncomfortable (two separate mats sat on top of a smaller box, so you risked falling off if you turned one way and you fell in the gulf between mats if you turned the other way!) 4) I asked for a quiet room but my wish was not granted!

Builders present, very noisy. Not possible to have a quiet breakfast because of builders IN the breakfast room. Last day at waking up no water in the room... so no showering, brushing teeth etcetera with a 6 hours train trip ahead of me. Personel unwilling to give a reasonable discount for discomfort. That, with terrible beds, outdated decor and smelly duvets makes it a 'never & never again'!

We never saw hotels do that. They are normally folded neatly ready for the new guest. And i dont know about the half bottle of commercial shampoo loreal doing in the shower? All in all its a bit unexpected to see them. I expect more if the facilities are a bit rundown yes... But those i mentioned? Not really
