Fitness center had old equipment, the dumbbells only went to 20 kg which isn’t enough for a proper workout

The hotel has a direct access to the Keidel thermal pools (indoor and outdoor). It is the perfect spot for relaxing. The staff is very welcoming, they make you feel like at home.

Inside rooms face an industrial looking facility, no room temperature control, restaurant has limited menu. Too many levels.

No AC , I’m not suggest this hotel in summer because too hot , no complementary drinks on the room even bottle of water also I’m wandering why they are not explaining for us what they have or not have in their hotel we are just waiting our room to finish because we came early more than 3 hours just set and wait I saw them how explain for others nationality about hotel but not us

The room was too hot. Even opening the windows we were unable to lower the temperature as there was no draft and no A/C.

The rooms are very clean and roomy. The restaurant is convenient and serves quality food. All in all the hotel has great facilities and very good access to the SPA as well as it is very close to Freiburg.

It would be nice to have mosquitoe nets in the rooms. We didn't have air conditioner, so we needed to open the windows and some bugs wanted to come in immediately. Rooms are bit old and it looked like they don't clean them very well as it was still dusty.

It's a nice hotel that is connected to thermal bath, which is very convenient. We really liked the location, it feels so peaceful there.

Room was very hot even with fan provided. Some items on restaurant menu a little overpriced / not enough options for lesser budgets. Mandated nudity in saunas not explained at outset by reception and no English signs in the sauna area, so not clear until member of staff beckoned us out of sauna room and asked us to leave ! Slightly embarrassing.

We came in high summer and got a top floor room. It was really hot, even with the fan.

Check in took quite a while. On arrival there where a few hair on my bedsheets and pillow case.

Very calm and quiet surrounding. The rooms was very quiet also. The spa is above and beyond. Very good gym. Great place to relax, come to peace and exercise.

Just be aware that the water in the pool is very warm (for lane swimming) as is the big exercise room/ gym - but that is understandable (see above). Thus, for cardio exercise, I recommend a bike tour or a run/walk in the woods around the hotel.

I was delighted with my stay this time. I think it is excellent that the Therme (pool) price is now included in the room price. I also appreciated the possibility of using the big gym/therapy room. The latter is a bit overheated as is the pool, but this is understandable due to their primary use (therapy, relaxation). I was always happy with the rooms also during my stays in the past. Very good service at the bar the evening I ate there.

Very expensive food options and it wasn't very clear how to use the thermal baths, we had to go back to the hotel a number of times to ask for more information
