    - bed was not especially comfortable, and duvet covers far too hot in summer - breakfast only average standard (not very varied for vegetarians, for example) - ensure you contact the owner in case of late arrival (e.g. after 19:00) as she does not live at the property

+ great location (short walk from the train station, and the town centre) + owner very friendly, and ready to give lots of information on local events and public transport + room had great balcony with nice mountain and garden views + location generally quiet and peaceful

My first comment is that the average BOOKING score (exceptional 9.0) is too high for what the hotel actually offers. The hotel is good but does not have exceptional facilities. For instance we did not like the fee to access the sauna (8 EUR). The sauna itself was small and not very fancy. We would have preferred to have that service included in the room fare. Another weak point is the door of the bathroom. It does not isolate the bathroom completely since there is a gap near the floor and it is not a normal door but a semi transparent glassy door. Breakfast were good but closer to average than to exceptional.

The hotel is close to the town centre and offers free parking lots. It is quite and it offers a good opportunity if one wants to hike or ski. In conclusion it is a good value for money

We were so happy and delighted with the hotel. It was clean and cute. We had our room on the ground floor and there was a door to the backyard. It was nice to sit there in the evening and drink a beer. And the location is great, it's just a few minutes walk from the main street.

    - Very small breakfast spread, not renewed promptly - Lady who was supposed to take care of breakfast instead sat down and started chatting with another family on holiday! No issues with that, but we didn't know enough German to politely butt in and ask for food, and honestly shouldn't have to. Most items ran out (there were hardly 3-4 pieces of each item to begin with anyway) - Frosted glass door for the bathroom, with a gap below! Why do this, quite inexplicable - Not very accommodating with late checkins, try to get there before 7pm or you would have to deal with lengthy complicated instructions on phone to get into the hotel

    - Less than 1 minute walking distance from the town center - Pretty, well-maintained building - Modern and spacious rooms - Small balcony in the room - Good WiFi - Prompt and helpful staff - Reasonably adequate onsite parking

We stayed in a top floor room with two balconies. It has a living, dining and kitchen area as well as a walk-in closet. It was like living in an apartment rather than a hotel room. The mountain views from the balconies are excellent. The hotel is located in a quiet street within easy walking distance to the town center and the train station. It also has its own off-street parking.

This is a small pleasant family run hotel located in a quiet residential area on the edge of Oberammergau's main tourist centre. The breakfast is a chit to go around the corner for a coffee and roll. So don't select this hotel as a true B&B. Rather, select it for location, location.

If you want to be close to the Vatican and its museum, this is ideal. Finding a close-by parking garage for a normal Italian car is possible.

Very good location, near center of village. Very helpful staff and good breakfast. For students of NSO, the bus stop is just 2' minutes away.

Very small room - people or luggage but not both :( No bed for child provided though requested at booking. Probably wouldn't stay there again.

    Breakfast was good.
